Symmetries of differential equations in computer vision applications
    Computer Research and Modeling, 2010, v. 2, no. 4, pp. 369-376

In our work we present generalization of well-known approach for construction of invariant feature vectors of images in computer vision applications. Basic feature of the suggested algorithm is replacement of commonly used Gaussian filter by convolution of image function with Green’s function of evolution operator, which inherits symmetries of this operator. The use of general filtration allows to obtain additional characteristics of invariant feature vectors.

Convection effect on two-dimensional dynamics in the nonlocal reaction-diffusion model
    Computer Research and Modeling, 2011, v. 3, no. 1, pp. 55-61

Pattern formation described by the scalar Fisher–Kolmogorov–Petrovsky–Piscounov equation with nonlocal competition loses and convection linear on coordinates is considered numerically. Initial function localized around a point is shown to transform in a function localized around a ring with symmetrically sited local maxima. The ring radius and number of maxima depend on convection.

  3. The solution of problems of heat conductivity by means of a method of continuous asynchronous cellular automats is considered in the article. Coordination of distribution of temperature in a sample at a given time between cellular automat model and the exact analytical solution of the equation of heattransfer is shown that speaks about expedient use of this method of modelling. Dependence between time of one cellular automatic interaction and dimension of a cellular automatic field is received.

On the computation of viscous fluid flows by the lattice Boltzmann method
    Computer Research and Modeling, 2013, v. 5, no. 2, pp. 165-178

Modification of the lattice Boltzmann method for computation of viscous Newtonian fluid flows is considered. Modified method is based on the splitting of differential operator in Navier–Stokes equation and on the idea of instantaneous Maxwellisation of distribution function. The problems for the system of lattice kinetic equations and for the system of linear diffusion equations are solved while one time step is realized. The efficiency of the method proposed in comparison with the ordinary lattice Boltzmann method is demonstrated on the solution of the problem of planar flow in cavern in wide range of Reynolds number and various grid resolution.

Collective influence of impurities on the dynamics of kinks of modified sine-Gordon equation
    Computer Research and Modeling, 2013, v. 5, no. 3, pp. 403-412

We investigated numerically the dynamics of kinks of modified sine-Gordon equation in the model with localized spatial modulation of a periodic potential (or impurity). We considered the case of two identical impurities. We showed the possibility of collective effects of the influence of impurities, which are heavily dependent on the distance between them. We demonstrated the existence of a certain critical value of the distance between impurities, which has two qualitatively different scenarios of the dynamic behavior of kink.

Analysis of stochastically forced equilibria and noise-induced transitions in nonlinear discrete systems
    Computer Research and Modeling, 2013, v. 5, no. 4, pp. 559-571

Stochastically forced discrete dynamical systems are considered. Using first approximation systems, we study dynamics of deviations of stochastic solutions from deterministic equilibria. Necessary and sufficient conditions of the existence of stable stationary solutions of equations for mean-square deviations are derived. Stationary values of these mean-square deviations are used for the estimations of the dispersion of random states nearby stable equilibria and analysis of noise-induced transitions. Constructive application of the suggested technique to the analysis of various stochastic regimes in Ricker population model with Allee effect is demonstrated.

    Computer Research and Modeling, 2014, v. 6, no. 3, pp. 397-403

In this paper we consider software implementation of three-dimensional modeling of thermal processes in multilayer integrated circuits based on low-temperature co-veneering ceramic. The results obtained by the software implemented by the example of the radio frequency receiver module based on low-temperature ceramics for autonomous navigation systems. And also provides a comparison with the results of certified software product.

Improvement of image quality in a computer tomography by means of integral transformation of a special kind
    Computer Research and Modeling, 2015, v. 7, no. 5, pp. 1033-1046

The question on improvement of quality of images obtained in a tomography problem is considered. The problem consists in finding of boundaries of inhomogeneities (inclusions) in a continuous medium by results of X-ray radiography of this medium. A nonlinear integral transformation of a special kind is proposed which allows to improve quality of images obtained earlier at a set of papers. The method is realized numerically by the use of computer modelling. Some calculations are carried out with use of data for concrete materials. The results obtained are presented by drawings and graphic images.

Development, calibration and verification of mathematical model for multilane urban road traffic flow. Part II
    Computer Research and Modeling, 2015, v. 7, no. 6, pp. 1205-1219

The goal of this work is to generalize second order mathematical models for automotive flow using algorithm for building state equation — the dependency of pressure on traffic density — which is adequate with regard to real world data. The form of state equation, which closes the system of model equations, is obtained from experimental form of fundamental diagram — the dependency of traffic flow intensity on its density, and completely defines all properties of any phenomenological model. The proposed approach was verified using numerical experiments on typical traffic data, obtained from PeMS system (http://pems.dot.ca.gov/), using segment of I-507 highway in California, USA as model system.

Stability investigation of finite-difference schemes of lattice Boltzmann method for diffusion modelling
    Computer Research and Modeling, 2016, v. 8, no. 3, pp. 485-500

Stability of finite difference schemes of lattice Boltzmann method for modelling of 1D diffusion for cases of D1Q2 and D1Q3 lattices is investigated. Finite difference schemes are constructed for the system of linear Bhatnagar–Gross–Krook (BGK) kinetic equations on single particle distribution functions. Brief review of articles of other authors is realized. With application of multiscale expansion by Chapman–Enskog method it is demonstrated that system of BGK kinetic equations at small Knudsen number is transformated to scalar linear diffusion equation. The solution of linear diffusion equation is obtained as a sum of single particle distribution functions. The method of linear travelling wave propagation is used to show the unconditional asymptotic stability of the solution of Cauchy problem for the system of BGK equations at all values of relaxation time. Stability of the scheme for D1Q2 lattice is demonstrated by the method of differential approximation. Stability condition is written in form of the inequality on values of relaxation time. The possibility of the reduction of stability analysis of the schemes for BGK equations to the analysis of special schemes for diffusion equation for the case of D1Q3 lattice is investigated. Numerical stability investigation is realized by von Neumann method. Absolute values of the eigenvalues of the transition matrix are investigated in parameter space of the schemes. It is demonstrated that in wide range of the parameters changing the values of modulas of eigenvalues are lower than unity, so the scheme is stable with respect to initial conditions.
