  1. It is shown that the relative air drag force for many different ballistic profiles obeys the law as follows R(V)=Mg·w(V/WT)n(V) with V being the velocity, WT — some threshold velocity close to that of sound, w equals to R(WT) and n(V) is the exponent in broken power Gȃvre formula. Using the Legendre transformation and in frames of perturbation approach received was the expression for addition δabb''(bto resolvent function abb''(b), where a(b) is an intercept and b=tgθ, θ — inclination angle.

  2. The mathematical model of the magnetic memory cell MRAM with the in-plane anisotropy axis parallel to the edge of a free ferromagnetic layer (longitudinal anisotropy) has been constructed using approximation of uniform magnetization. The model is based on the Landau–Lifshits–Gilbert equation with the injection-current term in the Sloncžewski–Berger form. The set of ordinary differential equations for magnetization dynamics in a three-layered Co/Cu/Cu valve under the control of external magnetic field and spin-polarized current has been derived in the normal coordinate form. It was shown that the set of equations has two main stationary points on the anisotropy axis at any values of field and current. The stationary analysis of them has been performed. The algebraic equations for determination of additional stationary points have been derived. It has been shown that, depending on the field and current magnitude, the set of equations can have altogether two, four, or six stationary points symmetric in pairs relatively the anisotropy axis. The bifurcation diagrams for all the points have been constructed. The classification of the corresponding phase portraits has been performed. The typical trajectories were calculated numerically using Runge–Kutta method. The regions, where stable and unstable limit cycles exist, have been determined. It was found that the unstable limit cycles exist around the main stable equilibrium point on the axis that coincides with the anisotropy one, whereas the stable cycles surround the unstable additional points of equilibrium. The area of their existence was determined numerically. The new types of dynamics, such as accidental switching and non-complete switching, have been found. The threshold values of switching current and field have been obtained analytically. The estimations of switching times have been performed numerically.

Review of Modern State of Quantum Technologies
    Computer Research and Modeling, 2018, v. 10, no. 2, pp. 165-179

At present modern quantum technologies can get a new twist of development, which will certainly give an opportunity to obtain solutions for numerous problems that previously could not be solved in the framework of “traditional” paradigms and computational models. All mankind stands at the threshold of the so-called “second quantum revolution”, and its short-term and long-term consequences will affect virtually all spheres of life of a global society. Such directions and branches of science and technology as materials science, nanotechnology, pharmacology and biochemistry in general, modeling of chaotic dynamic processes (nuclear explosions, turbulent flows, weather and long-term climatic phenomena), etc. will be directly developed, as well as the solution of any problems, which reduce to the multiplication of matrices of large dimensions (in particular, the modeling of quantum systems). However, along with extraordinary opportunities, quantum technologies carry with them certain risks and threats, in particular, the scrapping of all information systems based on modern achievements in cryptography, which will entail almost complete destruction of secrecy, the global financial crisis due to the destruction of the banking sector and compromise of all communication channels. Even in spite of the fact that methods of so-called “post-quantum” cryptography are already being developed today, some risks still need to be realized, since not all long-term consequences can be calculated. At the same time, one should be prepared to all of the above, including by training specialists working in the field of quantum technologies and understanding all their aspects, new opportunities, risks and threats. In this connection, this article briefly describes the current state of quantum technologies, namely, quantum sensorics, information transfer using quantum protocols, a universal quantum computer (hardware), and quantum computations based on quantum algorithms (software). For all of the above, forecasts are given for the development of the impact on various areas of human civilization.

Optimal threshold selection algorithms for multi-label classification: property study
    Computer Research and Modeling, 2022, v. 14, no. 6, pp. 1221-1238

Multi-label classification models arise in various areas of life, which is explained by an increasing amount of information that requires prompt analysis. One of the mathematical methods for solving this problem is a plug-in approach, at the first stage of which, for each class, a certain ranking function is built, ordering all objects in some way, and at the second stage, the optimal thresholds are selected, the objects on one side of which are assigned to the current class, and on the other — to the other. Thresholds are chosen to maximize the target quality measure. The algorithms which properties are investigated in this article are devoted to the second stage of the plug-in approach which is the choice of the optimal threshold vector. This step becomes non-trivial if the $F$-measure of average precision and recall is used as the target quality assessment since it does not allow independent threshold optimization in each class. In problems of extreme multi-label classification, the number of classes can reach hundreds of thousands, so the original optimization problem is reduced to the problem of searching a fixed point of a specially introduced transformation $\boldsymbol V$, defined on a unit square on the plane of average precision $P$ and recall $R$. Using this transformation, two algorithms are proposed for optimization: the $F$-measure linearization method and the method of $\boldsymbol V$ domain analysis. The properties of algorithms are studied when applied to multi-label classification data sets of various sizes and origin, in particular, the dependence of the error on the number of classes, on the $F$-measure parameter, and on the internal parameters of methods under study. The peculiarity of both algorithms work when used for problems with the domain of $\boldsymbol V$, containing large linear boundaries, was found. In case when the optimal point is located in the vicinity of these boundaries, the errors of both methods do not decrease with an increase in the number of classes. In this case, the linearization method quite accurately determines the argument of the optimal point, while the method of $\boldsymbol V$ domain analysis — the polar radius.

  5. The mathematical model of a three-layered Co/Cu/Co nanopillar for MRAM cell with one fixed and one free layer was investigated in the approximation of uniformly distributed magnetization. The anisotropy axis is perpendicular to the layers (so-called perpendicular anisotropy). Initially the magnetization of the free layer is oriented along the anisotropy axis in the position accepted to be “zero”. Simultaneous magnetic field and spinpolarized current engaging can reorient the magnetization to another position which in this context can be accepted as “one”. The mathematical description of the effect is based on the classical vector Landau–Lifshits equation with the dissipative term in the Gilbert form. In our model we took into account the interactions of the magnetization with an external magnetic field and such effective magnetic fields as an anisotropy and demagnetization ones. The influence of the spin-polarized injection current is taken into account in the form of Sloczewski–Berger term. The model was reduced to the set of three ordinary differential equations with the first integral. It was shown that at any current and field the dynamical system has two main equilibrium states on the axis coincident with anisotropy axis. It was ascertained that in contrast with the longitudinal-anisotropy model, in the model with perpendicular anisotropy there are no other equilibrium states. The stability analysis of the main equilibrium states was performed. The bifurcation diagrams characterizing the magnetization dynamics at different values of the control parameters were built. The classification of the phase portraits on the unit sphere was performed. The features of the dynamics at different values of the parameters were studied and the conditions of the magnetization reorientation were determined. The trajectories of magnetization switching were calculated numerically using the Runge–Kutta method. The parameter values at which limit cycles exist were determined. The threshold values for the switching current were found analytically. The threshold values for the structures with longitudinal and perpendicular anisotropy were compared. It was established that in the structure with the perpendicular anisotropy at zero field the switching current is an order lower than in the structure with the longitudinal one.

Development of anisotropic nonlinear noise-reduction algorithm for computed tomography data with context dynamic threshold
    Computer Research and Modeling, 2019, v. 11, no. 2, pp. 233-248

The article deals with the development of the noise-reduction algorithm based on anisotropic nonlinear data filtering of computed tomography (CT). Analysis of domestic and foreign literature has shown that the most effective algorithms for noise reduction of CT data use complex methods for analyzing and processing data, such as bilateral, adaptive, three-dimensional and other types of filtrations. However, a combination of such techniques is rarely used in practice due to long processing time per slice. In this regard, it was decided to develop an efficient and fast algorithm for noise-reduction based on simplified bilateral filtration method with three-dimensional data accumulation. The algorithm was developed on C ++11 programming language in Microsoft Visual Studio 2015. The main difference of the developed noise reduction algorithm is the use an improved mathematical model of CT noise, based on the distribution of Poisson and Gauss from the logarithmic value, developed earlier by our team. This allows a more accurate determination of the noise level and, thus, the threshold of data processing. As the result of the noise reduction algorithm, processed CT data with lower noise level were obtained. Visual evaluation of the data showed the increased information content of the processed data, compared to original data, the clarity of the mapping of homogeneous regions, and a significant reduction in noise in processing areas. Assessing the numerical results of the algorithm showed a decrease in the standard deviation (SD) level by more than 6 times in the processed areas, and high rates of the determination coefficient showed that the data were not distorted and changed only due to the removal of noise. Usage of newly developed context dynamic threshold made it possible to decrease SD level on every area of data. The main difference of the developed threshold is its simplicity and speed, achieved by preliminary estimation of the data array and derivation of the threshold values that are put in correspondence with each pixel of the CT. The principle of its work is based on threshold criteria, which fits well both into the developed noise reduction algorithm based on anisotropic nonlinear filtration, and another algorithm of noise-reduction. The algorithm successfully functions as part of the MultiVox workstation and is being prepared for implementation in a single radiological network of the city of Moscow.

    Cities road networks
    Computer Research and Modeling, 2016, v. 8, no. 5, pp. 775-786

Road network infrastructure is the basis of any urban area. This article compares the structural characteristics (meshedness coefficient, clustering coefficient) road networks of Moscow center (Old Moscow), formed as a result of self-organization and roads near Leninsky Prospekt (postwar Moscow), which was result of cetralized planning. Data for the construction of road networks in the form of graphs taken from the Internet resource OpenStreetMap, allowing to accurately identify the coordinates of the intersections. According to the characteristics of the calculated Moscow road networks areas the cities with road network which have a similar structure to the two Moscow areas was found in foreign publications. Using the dual representation of road networks of centers of Moscow and St. Petersburg, studied the information and cognitive features of navigation in these tourist areas of the two capitals. In the construction of the dual graph of the studied areas were not taken into account the different types of roads (unidirectional or bi-directional traffic, etc), that is built dual graphs are undirected. Since the road network in the dual representation are described by a power law distribution of vertices on the number of edges (scale-free networks), exponents of these distributions were calculated. It is shown that the information complexity of the dual graph of the center of Moscow exceeds the cognitive threshold 8.1 bits, and the same feature for the center of St. Petersburg below this threshold, because the center of St. Petersburg road network was created on the basis of planning and therefore more easy to navigate. In conclusion, using the methods of statistical mechanics (the method of calculating the partition functions) for the road network of some Russian cities the Gibbs entropy were calculated. It was found that with the road network size increasing their entropy decreases. We discuss the problem of studying the evolution of urban infrastructure networks of different nature (public transport, supply , communication networks, etc.), which allow us to more deeply explore and understand the fundamental laws of urbanization.

Estimates of threshold and strength of percolation clusters on square lattices with (1,π)-neighborhood
    Computer Research and Modeling, 2014, v. 6, no. 3, pp. 405-414

In this paper we consider statistical estimates of threshold and strength of percolation clusters on square lattices. The percolation threshold pc and the strength of percolation clusters P for a square lattice with (1,π)-neighborhood depends not only on the lattice dimension, but also on the Minkowski exponent d. To estimate the strength of percolation clusters P proposed a new method of averaging the relative frequencies of the target subset of lattice sites. The implementation of this method is based on the SPSL package, released under GNU GPL-3 using the free programming language R.

Modeling of anisotropic convection for the binary fluid in porous medium
    Computer Research and Modeling, 2018, v. 10, no. 6, pp. 801-816

We study an appearance of gravitational convection in a porous medium saturated by the double-diffusive fluid. The rectangle heated from below is considered with anisotropy of media properties. We analyze Darcy – Boussinesq equations for a binary fluid with Soret effect.

Resulting system for the stream function, the deviation of temperature and concentration is cosymmetric under some additional conditions for the parameters of the problem. It means that the quiescent state (mechanical equilibrium) loses its stability and a continuous family of stationary regimes branches off. We derive explicit formulas for the critical values of the Rayleigh numbers both for temperature and concentration under these conditions of the cosymmetry. It allows to analyze monotonic instability of mechanical equilibrium, the results of corresponding computations are presented.

A finite-difference discretization of a second-order accuracy is developed with preserving of the cosymmetry of the underlying system. The derived numerical scheme is applied to analyze the stability of mechanical equilibrium.

The appearance of stationary and nonstationary convective regimes is studied. The neutral stability curves for the mechanical equilibrium are presented. The map for the plane of the Rayleigh numbers (temperature and concentration) are displayed. The impact of the parameters of thermal diffusion on the Rayleigh concentration number is established, at which the oscillating instability precedes the monotonic instability. In the general situation, when the conditions of cosymmetry are not satisfied, the derived formulas of the critical Rayleigh numbers can be used to estimate the thresholds for the convection onset.

Mathematical model of tumor growth with migration and proliferation dichotomy
    Computer Research and Modeling, 2009, v. 1, no. 4, pp. 415-422

Mathematical model of infiltrative tumour growth taking into account transitions between two possible states of malignant cell is investigated. These transitions are considered to depend on oxygen level in a threshold manner: high oxygen concentration allows cell proliferation, while concentration below some critical value induces cell migration. Dependence of infiltrative tumour spreading rate on model parameters has been studied. It is demonstrated that if the level of tissue oxygenation is high, tumour spreading rate remains almost constant; otherwise the spreading rate decreases dramatically with oxygen depletion.
