Biographical information

Born: August 25, 1971, Udmurtia.

  • 1987-1992: student, Udmurt State University (UdSU), Russia;

  • 2000: Ph.D (candidate of science). Thesis title: "Numerical and analytical methods in dynamical systems analysis",  M.V. Lomonosov Moscow State University;

  • 2005: Doctor in physics and mathematics. Thesis title: "Qualitative and quantitative analysis of nonholonomic dynamical systems";

  • since 2001: Head of Laboratory of Dynamical Chaos and Nonlinearity at UdSU;

  • since 2002: Deputy director of  Institute of Computer Science.

Main accomplishments of the author

2008: Corresponding Member of Russian Academy of natural sciences.

In 2012 A.V.Borisov and I.S.Mamaev received the Sofia Kovalevskaya Award for a series of monographs devoted to the integrable systems of Hamiltonian mechanics.

Associate editor of International Scientific Journal Regular and Chaotic Dynamics; co-editor-in-chief of Russian Journal of Nonlinear Dynamics.
