Critical rate of computing net increase for providing the infinity faultless work
Computer Research and Modeling, 2009, v. 1, no. 1, pp. 33-39Fault-tolerance of a finite computing net with arbitrary graph, containing elements with certain probability of fault and restore, is analyzed. Algorithm for net growth at each work cycle is suggested. It is shown that if the rate of net increase is sufficiently big then the probability of infinity faultless work is positive. Estimated critical net increase rate is logarithmic over the number of work cycles.

Flow relaxation method in solving quasilinear parabolic equations
Computer Research and Modeling, 2011, v. 3, no. 1, pp. 47-53Views (last year): 1. Citations: 1 (RSCI).This article proposes a numeric method of solution of quasilinear parabolic equations, based on the flux approximation, describes the implementation of the method on a rectangular grid and presents numerical results. Unlike methods used in common practice, this method uses an approximation of flows in non-dilated template. For each iteration of the Newton method it is possible to solve a linear problem using the method of upper relaxation (SOR). Compared with the methods of flux sweeping, the considered method has greater potential for use in modern parallel computing system.

Numerical identification of the dehydriding model in a BOINC-based grid system
Computer Research and Modeling, 2013, v. 5, no. 1, pp. 37-45Citations: 6 (RSCI).In the paper we consider the inverse problem of evaluating kinetic parameters of the model of dehydriding of metal powder using experimental data. The «blind search» in the space of parameters revealed multiple physically reasonable solutions. The solutions were obtained using high–performance computational modeling based on BOINC–grid.

Algorithms and Software for Solving Coupled Fluid-Structure Interaction Problems on Hybrid HPC Platform
Computer Research and Modeling, 2013, v. 5, no. 2, pp. 153-164Views (last year): 1. Citations: 11 (RSCI).In this paper, we propose a new software for simulation of fluid-structure interaction. The software is designed for solving coupled problems and provides an interface for synchronization synchronisation and data exchange between existing fluid and structural solvers. Algorithms of coupling solvers and mesh deformation are discussed. The software can be used on hybrid CPU/GPU platforms.

On high-order approximation of transparent boundary conditions for the wave equation
Computer Research and Modeling, 2014, v. 6, no. 1, pp. 45-56Views (last year): 1. Citations: 1 (RSCI).The paper considers the problem of increasing the approximation order of transparent boundary conditions for the wave equation while using finite difference schemes up to the sixth order of accuracy in space. As an example, the problem of wave propagation in a semi-infinite rectangular waveguide is formulated. Computationally efficient and highly accurate formulas for discretizing operator of transparent boundary conditions are proposed. Numerical results confirm the accuracy and stability of the obtained difference algorithms.

Review of MRI processing techniques and elaboration of a new two-parametric method of moments
Computer Research and Modeling, 2014, v. 6, no. 2, pp. 231-244Citations: 10 (RSCI).The paper provides a review of the existing methods of signals’ processing within the conditions of the Rice statistical model applicability. There are considered the principle development directions, the existing limitations and the improvement possibilities concerning the methods of solving the tasks of noise suppression and analyzed signals’ filtration by the example of magnetic-resonance visualization. A conception of a new approach to joint calculation of Rician signal’s both parameters has been developed based on the method of moments in two variants of its implementation. The computer simulation and the comparative analysis of the obtained numerical results have been conducted.

Parallel calculations in the Darwin PIC-model
Computer Research and Modeling, 2015, v. 7, no. 1, pp. 61-69Views (last year): 2.The approach to parallel implementation of low-frequency PIC-algorithms is proposed, taking into account peculiarity of the nonradiative (Darwin) field approximation. Its advantages and specifics of adaptation to the base computer types for high performance calculations are discussed.

Algorithm of artificial neural network architecture and training set size configuration within approximation of dynamic object behavior
Computer Research and Modeling, 2015, v. 7, no. 2, pp. 243-251Views (last year): 2. Citations: 8 (RSCI).The article presents an approach to configuration of an artificial neural network architecture and a training set size. Configuration is based on parameter minimization with constraints specifying neural network model quality criteria. The algorithm of artificial neural network architecture and training set size configuration is applied to dynamic object artificial neural network approximation.
Series of computational experiments were performed. The method is applicable to construction of dynamic object models based on non-linear autocorrelation neural networks.
