Wavelet transform with the Morlet wavelet: Calculation methods based on a solution of diffusion equations
Computer Research and Modeling, 2009, v. 1, no. 1, pp. 5-12Views (last year): 5. Citations: 3 (RSCI).Two algorithms of evaluation of the continuous wavelet transform with the Morlet wavelet are presented. The first one is the solution of PDE with transformed signal, which plays a role of the initial value. The second allows to explore the influence of central frequency variation via the diffusion smoothing of the data modulated by the harmonic functions. These approaches are illustrated by the analysis of the chaotic oscillations of the coupled Roessler systems.

Continuum deployable shells made of thin plates
Computer Research and Modeling, 2011, v. 3, no. 1, pp. 3-29Citations: 3 (RSCI).This paper covers deployable systems assembled from trapezium plates. When the plate package is unwrapped, a net shell with six loop cells is formed. It is proved that additional degrees of freedom appear in case of certain correlation between the sizes of the six loop faces. When thin plates were used, the continuum approximation of the deployed net could be interpreted as a shell with a wide variety of local curvatures. Kinematics of the continuum model is analyzed by the method of Cartan moving hedron. Mechanical behavior of continuum nets is studied when cylindrical hinges between the plates are completed of shape memory plastic materials. The paper researches into shell transformations from one stable form to the other. Various practical applications of the continuum nets are demonstrated.

Autonomous Noetherian boundaryvalue problem in special critical case
Computer Research and Modeling, 2011, v. 3, no. 4, pp. 337-351Views (last year): 4. Citations: 1 (RSCI).The necessary and sufficient terms of solution existence of nonlinear autonomous Noetherian boundary-value problem are found in special critical case. The characteristic feature of the set problems is impossibility of direct application of traditional research schematic representation and construction of solutions of critical boundary-value problems, which was created in works of I.G. Malkin, A.M. Samoilenko, E.A. Grebenikov, Yu.A. Ryabov and A.A. Boichuk. For the solution construction of Noetherian boundary-value problem in special critical case an iterative procedure is recommended, it is constructed according to the scheme of least-squares method. Efficiency of the offered technique is shown on the example of analysis for periodic problems for Hill equation.

Two families of the simple iteration method, in comparison
Computer Research and Modeling, 2012, v. 4, no. 1, pp. 5-29Convergence to the solution of the linear system with real quadrate non singular matrix A with real necessary different sign eigen values of two families of simple iteration method: two-parametric and symmetrized one-parametric generated by these A and b is considered. Also these methods are compared when matrix A is a symmetric one. In this case it is proved that the coefficient of the optimal compression of two-parametric family is strongly less than the coefficient of the optimal compression of symmetrized one-parametric family of the simple iteration method.

The method of feasible directions in problems nonlinear programming for bimatrix games
Computer Research and Modeling, 2012, v. 4, no. 3, pp. 475-482Citations: 2 (RSCI).The problem of the Nash equilibrium in bimatrix game is considered. The search for a solution is associated with a problem of nonlinear programming. Application of the method of feasible directions for the solution of such a problem is investigated.

Galerkin–Petrov method for one-dimensional parabolic equations of higher order in domain with a moving boundary
Computer Research and Modeling, 2013, v. 5, no. 1, pp. 3-10Views (last year): 2.In the current paper, we study a Galerkin–Petrov method for a parabolic equations of higher order in domain with a moving boundary. Asymptotic estimates for the convergence rate of approximate solutions are obtained.

Search oblique factor structure by the "oblimax" method
Computer Research and Modeling, 2013, v. 5, no. 2, pp. 123-130An improved method of oblique rotation “oblimax” is suggested. The problem of choosing the pairs of factors is discussed. A novel sequence to select pairs of factors that lead to the best factor structure by “oblimax” is suggested.

A universal method for constructing the simulation model of complex multi-agent systems
Computer Research and Modeling, 2013, v. 5, no. 4, pp. 513-523Views (last year): 5. Citations: 2 (RSCI).This paper presents a universal method for constructing an agent-based model of complex systems for their further clear computer representation by means of object-oriented programming languages. The method specifies both steps of model developing from the mathematical description of the system to the determined architecture of the program simulating the system. The efficiency of the method is illustrated by the construction of the two simulation models for the complex systems of various origins: the interactive simulation of the stock exchange and space-time simulation of biological species competition.

Mathematical modeling of bending of a circular plate using $S$-splines
Computer Research and Modeling, 2015, v. 7, no. 5, pp. 977-988Views (last year): 4.This article is dedicated to the use of higher degree $S$-splines for solving equations of the elasticity theory. As an example we consider the solution to the equation of bending of a plate on a circle. $S$-spline is a piecewise-polynomial function. Its coefficients are defined by two conditions. The first part of the coefficients are defined by the smoothness of the spline. The rest are determined using the least-squares method. We consider class $C^4$ 7th degree $S$-splines.
