Modeling of disassembly processes of complex products
    Computer Research and Modeling, 2022, v. 14, no. 3, pp. 525-537

The work is devoted to modeling the processes of disassembling complex products in CADsystems. The ability to dismantle a product in a given sequence is formed at the early design stages, and is implemented at the end of the life cycle. Therefore, modern CAD-systems should have tools for assessing the complexity of dismantling parts and assembly units of a product. A hypergraph model of the mechanical structure of the product is proposed. It is shown that the mathematical description of coherent and sequential disassembly operations is the normal cutting of the edge of the hypergraph. A theorem on the properties of normal cuts is proved. This theorem allows us to organize a simple recursive procedure for generating all cuts of the hypergraph. The set of all cuts is represented as an AND/OR-tree. The tree contains information about plans for disassembling the product and its parts. Mathematical descriptions of various types of disassembly processes are proposed: complete, incomplete, linear, nonlinear. It is shown that the decisive graph of the AND/OR-tree is a model of disassembling the product and all its components obtained in the process of dismantling. An important characteristic of the complexity of dismantling parts is considered — the depth of nesting. A method of effective calculation of the estimate from below has been developed for this characteristic.

Stationary states and bifurcations in a one-dimensional active medium of oscillators
    Computer Research and Modeling, 2023, v. 15, no. 3, pp. 491-512

This article presents the results of an analytical and computer study of the collective dynamic properties of a chain of self-oscillating systems (conditionally — oscillators). It is assumed that the couplings of individual elements of the chain are non-reciprocal, unidirectional. More precisely, it is assumed that each element of the chain is under the influence of the previous one, while the reverse reaction is absent (physically insignificant). This is the main feature of the chain. This system can be interpreted as an active discrete medium with unidirectional transfer, in particular, the transfer of a matter. Such chains can represent mathematical models of real systems having a lattice structure that occur in various fields of natural science and technology: physics, chemistry, biology, radio engineering, economics, etc. They can also represent models of technological and computational processes. Nonlinear self-oscillating systems (conditionally, oscillators) with a wide “spectrum” of potentially possible individual self-oscillations, from periodic to chaotic, were chosen as the “elements” of the lattice. This allows one to explore various dynamic modes of the chain from regular to chaotic, changing the parameters of the elements and not changing the nature of the elements themselves. The joint application of qualitative methods of the theory of dynamical systems and qualitative-numerical methods allows one to obtain a clear picture of all possible dynamic regimes of the chain. The conditions for the existence and stability of spatially-homogeneous dynamic regimes (deterministic and chaotic) of the chain are studied. The analytical results are illustrated by a numerical experiment. The dynamical regimes of the chain are studied under perturbations of parameters at its boundary. The possibility of controlling the dynamic regimes of the chain by turning on the necessary perturbation at the boundary is shown. Various cases of the dynamics of chains comprised of inhomogeneous (different in their parameters) elements are considered. The global chaotic synchronization (of all oscillators in the chain) is studied analytically and numerically.

Probabilistic aspects of “computer analogy” method for solving differential equations
    Computer Research and Modeling, 2009, v. 1, no. 1, pp. 21-31

Method which allows to obtain explicit form of the solution as a part of power series of the argument step is developed. Formalization of characteristics of the algorithm analogous to operations of a computer is performed. The operation of transfer from one rank to another leads to a probability scheme of the algorithm that averages unknown intermediate steps in higher ranks of the series. The stochastic characteristics of the method are studied and illustrated. Examples of solving nonlinear equations and systems of nonlinear differential equations are presented.

The Einstein−Ehrenfest system of (0, M)-type and asymptotical solutions of the multidimensional nonlinear Fokker−Planck−Kolmogorov equation
    Computer Research and Modeling, 2010, v. 2, no. 2, pp. 151-160

Semiclassical approximation formalism is developed for the multidimensional Fokker–Planck–Kolmogorov equation with non-local and nonlinear drift vector with respect to a small diffusion coefficient D, D→0, in the class of trajectory concentrated functions. The Einstein−Ehrenfest system of (0, M)-type is obtained. A family of semiclassical solutions localized around a point driven by the Einstein−Ehrenfest system accurate to O(D(M+1)/2) is found.

Diffusion instability in a threevariable reaction–diffusion model
    Computer Research and Modeling, 2011, v. 3, no. 2, pp. 135-146

Investigation of occurrence of diffusion instability in a set of three reaction–diffusion equations is carried out. In the general case the condition for both Turing and wave instabilities are obtained. Qualitative properties of the system, in which the bifurcation of each of the two types can take place, are clarified. In numerical experiments it is shown that if the corresponding conditions are met in the nonlinear model, spatiotemporal patterns are formed, which are predicted by linear analysis.

Formation of optimal control of nonlinear dynamic object based on Takagi–Sugeno model
    Computer Research and Modeling, 2015, v. 7, no. 1, pp. 51-59

The algorithm of fuzzy control system essentially nonlinear dynamic object is considered in this article. For solving nonlinear optimal control problem is proposed to use the method of linear quadratic regulation (LQR) with fuzzy Takagi–Sugeno model. The algorithm can be used for the design of deterministic optimal control of nonlinear objects. The algorithm of optimal control for controlling the rotational motion of a space vehicle is proposed.

  7. The paper provides a solution of a task of calculating the parameters of a Rician distributed signal on the basis of the maximum likelihood principle in limiting cases of large and small values of the signal-tonoise ratio. The analytical formulas are obtained for the solution of the maximum likelihood equations’ system for the required signal and noise parameters for both the one-parameter approximation, when only one parameter is being calculated on the assumption that the second one is known a-priori, and for the two-parameter task, when both parameters are a-priori unknown. The direct calculation of required signal and noise parameters by formulas allows escaping the necessity of time resource consuming numerical solving the nonlinear equations’ s system and thus optimizing the duration of computer processing of signals and images. There are presented the results of computer simulation of a task confirming the theoretical conclusions. The task is meaningful for the purposes of Rician data processing, in particular, magnetic-resonance visualization.

Nonlinear boudary value problem in the case of parametric resonance
    Computer Research and Modeling, 2015, v. 7, no. 4, pp. 821-833

We construct necessary and sufficient conditions for the existence of solution of seminonlinear matrix boundary value problem for a parametric excitation system of ordinary differential equations. The convergent iteration algorithms for the construction of the solutions of the semi-nonlinear matrix boundary value problem for a parametric excitation system differential equations in the critical case have been found. Using the convergent iteration algorithms we expand solution of seminonlinear periodical boundary value problem for a parametric excitation Riccati type equation in the neighborhood of the generating solution. Estimates for the value of residual of the solutions of the seminonlinear periodical boundary value problem for a parametric excitation Riccati type equation are found.

The mechanism of formation of oscillons — localized oscillatory structures
    Computer Research and Modeling, 2015, v. 7, no. 6, pp. 1177-1184

A formal model mechanism of oscillon formation is proposed. These structures were found in a variety of physical systems and a chemical Belousov–Jabotinsky reaction proceeding in an aerosol OT water-inoil microemulsion. Via the proposed mechanism oscillons occur as a result of interaction of two subsystems. In the first subsystem for a proper set of parameters solitary stationary structures may arise as a result of hard local excitation. These structures influence spatial distribution of the second subsystem parameter that leads to local oscillations in the subsystem.

  10. The paper provides a solution of the two-parameter task of joint signal and noise estimation at data analysis within the conditions of the Rice distribution by the techniques of mathematical statistics: the maximum likelihood method and the variants of the method of moments. The considered variants of the method of moments include the following techniques: the joint signal and noise estimation on the basis of measuring the 2-nd and the 4-th moments (MM24) and on the basis of measuring the 1-st and the 2-nd moments (MM12). For each of the elaborated methods the explicit equations’ systems have been obtained for required parameters of the signal and noise. An important mathematical result of the investigation consists in the fact that the solution of the system of two nonlinear equations with two variables — the sought for signal and noise parameters — has been reduced to the solution of just one equation with one unknown quantity what is important from the view point of both the theoretical investigation of the proposed technique and its practical application, providing the possibility of essential decreasing the calculating resources required for the technique’s realization. The implemented theoretical analysis has resulted in an important practical conclusion: solving the two-parameter task does not lead to the increase of required numerical resources if compared with the one-parameter approximation. The task is meaningful for the purposes of the rician data processing, in particular — the image processing in the systems of magnetic-resonance visualization. The theoretical conclusions have been confirmed by the results of the numerical experiment.
