Synthesis of the simulation and monitoring processes for the development of big data storage and processing facilities in physical experiments
    Computer Research and Modeling, 2015, v. 7, no. 3, pp. 691-698

The paper presents a new grid and cloud services simulation system. This system is developed in LIT JINR, Dubna, and it is aimed at improving the efficiency of the grid-cloud systems development by using work quality indicators of some real system to design and predict its evolution. For these purpose, simulation program is combined with real monitoring system of the grid-cloud service through a special database. The paper provides an example of the program usage to simulate a sufficiently general cloud structure, which can be used for more common purposes.

Allocation of steinerpoints in euclidean Steiner tree problem by means of MatLab package
    Computer Research and Modeling, 2015, v. 7, no. 3, pp. 707-713

The problem of allocation of Steiner points in Euclidean Steiner Tree is considered. The cost of network is sum of building costs and cost of the information transportation. Euclidean Steiner tree problem in the form of topological network design is a good model of this problem.

The package MatLab has the way to solve the second part of this problem — allocate Steiner points under condition that the adjacency matrix is set. The method to get solution has been worked out. The Steiner tree is formed by means of solving of the sequence of "three points" Steiner

Russian participants in BOINC-based volunteer computing projects. The activity statistics
    Computer Research and Modeling, 2015, v. 7, no. 3, pp. 727-734

The article analyses the activity statistics of the Russian participants of volunteer computing (VC) using platform BOINC obtained by the authors. The data has been received with API BOINC and site www.boincstats.com. The script for the database was written in PHP, for data storing was used MySQL.

The database indicators were accumulated across all Russian projects, which allowed the calculation of the indicators characterizing the behavior of the Russian participants in all projects and teams BOINC — absolute and relative number of Russian participants, their activity, the number of introduced points system, the number of participants in each of the Russian project participants, interest in the concept of the VC.

It is shown that the position of Russia in the countries ranking is very low and is retained at the same level for 4 years. According to the authors, low activity of the Russian participants of the VC, due to individualism and the closure of Russian Internet users, as well as to a small interest in the development of fundamental science, scientific research. This, possibly due to the low-prestige as a science as a whole, as well as civil science, crowdsourcing, in particular. And, therefore, we can see insufficient dissemination of the ideas of using the mechanism of VC for research projects.

Image of the teacher. Ten years afterward
    Computer Research and Modeling, 2015, v. 7, no. 4, pp. 789-811

The work outlines the key ideas of Kurdyumov S.P., an outstanding specialist in applied mathematics, self-organization theory, transdisciplinary research. It considers the development of his scientific ideas in the last decade and formulates a set of open problems in synergetics which will probably stimulate the development of this approach. The article is an engaged version of the report made at Xth Kurdyumov readings held in Tver State University in 2015.

Approximation of classes of Poisson integrals by Fejer sums
    Computer Research and Modeling, 2015, v. 7, no. 4, pp. 813-819

We obtain asymptotic formula for upper bounds of deviations of Fejer sums on classes of Poisson integrals. Under certain conditions, formula guarantee the solvability of the Kolmogorov–Nikol’skiy problem for Fejer sums and classes of Poisson integrals.

The approximate model of plane static problems of the nonlinear elasticity theory
    Computer Research and Modeling, 2015, v. 7, no. 4, pp. 889-896

This article is dedicated to the construction of the approximate mathematical model of the nonlinear elasticity theory for plane strain state. The third order effects method applied to symbolic computing. There three boundary value problems for the first, the second and the third order effects has been obtained within this method, which gets ability to use well-elaborated methods of the linear elasticity theory for the solution of specific problems. This method can be applied for analytical solving of plane problems of nonlinear elasticity theory of stress concentration around holes in mathematical package Maple. Considered example of the triangular hole. The influence of external loads on the stress concentration factor.

Mathematical modeling of bending of a circular plate using $S$-splines
    Computer Research and Modeling, 2015, v. 7, no. 5, pp. 977-988

This article is dedicated to the use of higher degree $S$-splines for solving equations of the elasticity theory. As an example we consider the solution to the equation of bending of a plate on a circle. $S$-spline is a piecewise-polynomial function. Its coefficients are defined by two conditions. The first part of the coefficients are defined by the smoothness of the spline. The rest are determined using the least-squares method. We consider class $C^4$ 7th degree $S$-splines.

    Mathematical modeling of oscillator hereditarity
    Computer Research and Modeling, 2015, v. 7, no. 5, pp. 1001-1021

The paper considers hereditarity oscillator which is characterized by oscillation equation with derivatives of fractional order $\beta$ and $\gamma$, which are defined in terms of Gerasimova-Caputo. Using Laplace transform were obtained analytical solutions and the Green’s function, which are determined through special functions of Mittag-Leffler and Wright generalized function. It is proved that for fixed values of $\beta = 2$ and $\gamma = 1$, the solution found becomes the classical solution for a harmonic oscillator. According to the obtained solutions were built calculated curves and the phase trajectories hereditarity oscillatory process. It was found that in the case of an external periodic influence on hereditarity oscillator may occur effects inherent in classical nonlinear oscillators.

Terrain objects movement detection using SAR interferometry
    Computer Research and Modeling, 2015, v. 7, no. 5, pp. 1047-1060

To determine movements of infrastructure objects on Earth surface, SAR interferometry is used. The method is based on obtaining a series of detailed satellite images of the same Earth surface area at different times. Each image consists of the amplitude and phase components. To determine terrain movements the change of the phase component is used. A method of persistent scatterers detection and estimation of relative shift of objects corresponding to persistent scatterers is suggested.

Numerical simulation of electromagnetic properties of the saturated rock media with surface conductivity effects
    Computer Research and Modeling, 2015, v. 7, no. 5, pp. 1081-1088

New numerical simulation technique to calculate electrical properties of rocks with two-phase “oil– water” saturation is proposed. This technique takes into account surface conductivity of electrical double layers at the contact between solid rock and aqueous solution inside pore space. The numerical simulation technique is based on acquiring of electrical potential distribution in high-resolution three-dimensional digital model of porous medium. The digital model incorporates the spatial geometry of pore channels and contains bulk and surface grid cells. Numerical simulation results demonstrate the importance of surface conductivity effects.
