Large-time asymptotic solutions of the nonlocal Fisher–Kolmogorov–Petrovskii–Piskunov equation
Computer Research and Modeling, 2013, v. 5, no. 4, pp. 543-558Views (last year): 1. Citations: 3 (RSCI).Asymptotic solutions are constructed for the 1D nonlocal Fisher–Kolmogorov–Petrovskii–Piskunov equation. Such solutions allow to describe the quasi-steady-state patterns. Similar asymptotic solutions of the dynamical Einstein–Ehrenfest system for the 2D Fisher–Kolmogorov–Petrovskii–Piskunov equation are found. The solutions describe properties of 2D patterns localized on 1D manifolds.

Analysis of stochastically forced equilibria and noise-induced transitions in nonlinear discrete systems
Computer Research and Modeling, 2013, v. 5, no. 4, pp. 559-571Views (last year): 1. Citations: 2 (RSCI).Stochastically forced discrete dynamical systems are considered. Using first approximation systems, we study dynamics of deviations of stochastic solutions from deterministic equilibria. Necessary and sufficient conditions of the existence of stable stationary solutions of equations for mean-square deviations are derived. Stationary values of these mean-square deviations are used for the estimations of the dispersion of random states nearby stable equilibria and analysis of noise-induced transitions. Constructive application of the suggested technique to the analysis of various stochastic regimes in Ricker population model with Allee effect is demonstrated.

Methodology and program for the storage and statistical analysis of the results of computer experiment
Computer Research and Modeling, 2013, v. 5, no. 4, pp. 589-595Views (last year): 1. Citations: 5 (RSCI).The problem of accumulation and the statistical analysis of computer experiment results are solved. The main experiment program is considered as the data source. The results of main experiment are collected on specially prepared sheet Excel with pre-organized structure for the accumulation, statistical processing and visualization of the data. The created method and the program are used at efficiency research of the scientific researches which are carried out by authors.

Comparative analysis of Darcy and Brinkman models at studying of transient conjugate natural convection in a porous cylindrical cavity
Computer Research and Modeling, 2013, v. 5, no. 4, pp. 623-634Views (last year): 1. Citations: 4 (RSCI).Comparative analysis of two models of porous medium (Dacry and Brinkman) on an example of mathematical simulation of transient natural convection in a porous vertical cylindrical cavity with heat-conducting shell of finite thickness in conditions of convective cooling from an environment has been carried out. The boundary-value problem of mathematical physics formulated in dimensionless variables such as stream function, vorticity and temperature has been solved by implicit finite difference method. The presented verification results validate used numerical approach and also confirm that the solution is not dependent on the mesh size. Features of the conjugate heat transfer problems with considered models of porous medium have been determined.

The Task of Search Viable Therapy Strategy for a Mathematical Spatial Cancer Model
Computer Research and Modeling, 2013, v. 5, no. 4, pp. 749-765Views (last year): 1.This paper is devoted to the analysis of the partial mathematical model describing the process of growth and spread of malignant and normal cells under the influence of chemotherapy. We found the periodic therapy regime, conditions the existence of this regime and suggest the search algorithm of this regime. This paper also includes the examples of simulation and the set of parameter values.

Parametric study of the thermodynamic algorithm for the prediction of steady flame spread rate
Computer Research and Modeling, 2013, v. 5, no. 5, pp. 799-804Views (last year): 1. Citations: 1 (RSCI).The stationary flame spread rate has been calculated using the relationship based on the thermodynamic variational principle. It has been shown that proposed numerical algorithm provides the stable convergence under any initial approximation, which could be noticeably far from the searched solution.

Research of possibility for man the parallel information handling in task series with increase complexity
Computer Research and Modeling, 2013, v. 5, no. 5, pp. 845-861Views (last year): 1. Citations: 4 (RSCI).We schedule the computer technology for present the engineer psychology tests which reveal probationer men which may hasten the logic task solution by simultaneous execution several standard logic operations. These tests based on the theory of two logic task kinds: in first kind the parallel logic is effectively, and in second kind it is not effectively. The realize experiment confirms the capability parallel logic for impotent part of people. The vital speedup execution of logic operations is very uncommon in simultaneous logic. The efficacy of methodic is confirmed.

The given work is devoted aerodynamic properties of system of the bodies which are flowed round by a supersonic stream. The question on reduction of mutual influence with increase in the size characterising scattering of elements of system is considered. The method of construction of a grid is applied to current modeling from a set of grids. One of grids, regular with rectangular cells, is responsible for an interference between bodies
and serves for the description of an external nonviscous current. Other grids are connected with surfaces of streamline bodies and allow to describe viscous layers about streamline bodies. These grids are imposed on the first, without combination of any knots. Boundary conditions are realized through interpolation of functions on borders from one grid on another.
