    Numerical modeling of population 2D-dynamics with nonlocal interaction

    Numerical solutions for the two-dimensional reaction-diffusion equation with nonlocal nonlinearity are obtained. The solutions reveal formation of dissipative structures. Structures arising from initial distributions with one and several centers of localization are considered. Formation of extending circular structures is shown. Peculiarities of formation and interaction of extending circular structures depending on  nonlocal interaction are considered.

    Моделирование течения в гидроциклоне с дополнительным инжектором

    Статья представляет собой пример компьютерного моделирования в области инженерной механики. Численным методом находятся поля скорости в гидроциклоне, которые недоступны прямому измерению. Рассматривается численное моделирование трехмерной гидродинамики на основе k-ε RNG модели турбулентности в гидроциклоне со встроенным инжектором, содержащим 5 тангенциально направленных сопла. Показано, что направление движения инжектируемой жидкости зависит от расхода жидкости через инжектор. Расчеты показывают в соответствии с экспериментами, что зависимость сплит-параметра от расхода инжектируемой жидкости имеет немонотонный характер, связанный с отношением мощности основного потока и инжектируемой жидкости.

    Mathematical modeling of SHS process in heterogeneous reactive powder mixtures

    In this paper we present a mathematical model and numerical results on a propagation of the combustion front of the SHS compound, where the rate of chemical reaction at each point of the SHS sample is determined by solving the problem of diffusion and chemical reaction in the reaction cell. We obtained the dependence of the combustion front on the size of the average element of a heterogeneous structure with different values of the diffusion intensity. These dependences agree qualitatively with the experimental data. We studied the effect of activation energy for diffusion on the propagation velocity of combustion front. It is revealed the propagation of the combustion front transforms to an oscillatory regime at increase in activation energy of diffusion. A transition boundary of the combustion front propagation from the steady-state regime to the oscillatory one is defined.

    Hydrodynamical activation of blood coagulation in stenosed vessels. Theoretical analysis

    The mechanisms of hydrodynamical activation of blood coagulation system are investigated in stenosed vessels for a wide range of Reynolds number values (from 10 up to 500). It is assumed that the vessel wall permeability for procoagulant factors rapidly increases when wall shear stress exceeds specific threshold value. A number of patterns of blood coagulation processes development are described. The influence of blood flow topology changes on activation of blood coagulation is explored. It is established that not only blood flow decrease, but also its increase may promote activation of blood coagulation. It was found that dependence of thrombogenic danger of stenosis on vessel lumen blockage ratio is non-monotonic. The relevance of obtained theoretical results for clinical practice is discussed.

      Excitement of solitons in the interaction of kinks of sine-Gordon equation with attracting impurity

    We investigate analytically and numerically the structure and properties of localized two- and three-kink solutions of the sine-Gordon equation, which are excited in the region of the attracting impurity. We have considered cases of single and double spatially extended impurity.

    Algorithms of parallel computing for radiative-conductive heat transfer problems

    The problems of radiative-conductive heat transfer in the scattering layer are considered. They consist in finding the temperature profile and improving the heat transfer from boundaries. For their solution the Monte Carlo method is used. The different approaches of parallelization of proposed algorithm are analyzed.

    Calculation of aerodynamic factor of front resistance of a body in subsonic and transonic modes of movement by means of an ANSYS Fluent package

    The gas-dynamics approach to the calculation of the aerodynamic characteristics of modern aircraft makes it necessary to consider the complex and extensive set of tasks requiring the development of new methods for their solution. Drag coefficient for two bodies in subsonic and transonic flow regimes was calculated using ANSYS Fluent software. Numeric solution and results of the experiment are in good agreement; calculation error does not exceed 3 %.

    The use of syntax trees in order to automate the correction of LaTeX documents

    The problem is to automate the correction of LaTeX documents. Each document is represented as a parse tree. The modified Zhang-Shasha algorithm is used to construct a mapping of tree vertices of the original document to the tree vertices of the edited document, which corresponds to the minimum editing distance. Vertex to vertex maps form the training set, which is used to generate rules for automatic correction. The statistics of the applicability to the edited documents is collected for each rule. It is used for quality assessment and improvement of the rules.

    A possible modification of the discrete mathematical model of transport network dynamics

    The aim of this article is to study the discrete mathematical model of transport network dynamics, recently built by author. The study showed some drawbacks of the basic model and the ways of overcoming these drawbacks, and an improved version of the model was proposed. Simulation systems, created on the basis of this new model were used to do test calculations similar to those previously done with the help of the basic model. The results of these calculations with both models are compared.

    The problem of accumulation and the statistical analysis of computer experiment results are solved. The main experiment program is considered as the data source. The results of main experiment are collected on specially prepared sheet Excel with pre-organized structure for the accumulation, statistical processing and visualization of the data. The created method and the program are used at efficiency research of the scientific researches which are carried out by authors.
