Ray trajectories, binomial coefficients of a new type, and the binary system
Computer Research and Modeling, 2010, v. 2, no. 4, pp. 359-397Views (last year): 5. Citations: 1 (RSCI).The paper describes a new algorithm of construction of the nonlinear arithmetic triangle on the basis of numerical simulation and the binary system. It demonstrates that the numbers that fill the nonlinear arithmetic triangle may be binomial coefficients of a new type. An analogy has been drawn with the binomial coefficients calculated with the use of the Pascal triangle. The paper provides a geometrical interpretation of binomials of different types in considering the branching systems of rays.

Computer Research and Modeling, 2011, v. 3, no. 4, pp. 371-381Views (last year): 2. Citations: 16 (RSCI).Statement of a problem of management of movement of a body in a viscous liquid is given. Movement bodies it is induced by moving of internal material points. On a basis the numerical decision of the equations of movement of a body and the hydrodynamic equations approximating dependencies for viscous forces are received. With application approximations the problem of optimum control of body movement dares on the set trajectory with application of hybrid genetic algorithm. Possibility of the directed movement of a body under action is established back and forth motion of an internal point. Optimum control movement direction it is carried out by motion of other internal point on circular trajectory with variable speed.

On the stability of the gravitational system of many bodies
Computer Research and Modeling, 2021, v. 13, no. 3, pp. 487-511In this paper, a gravitational system is understood as a set of point bodies that interact according to Newton's law of attraction and have a negative value of the total energy. The question of the stability (nonstability) of a gravitational system of general position is discussed by direct computational experiment. A gravitational system of general position is a system in which the masses, initial positions, and velocities of bodies are chosen randomly from given ranges. A new method for the numerical solution of ordinary differential equations at large time intervals has been developed for the computational experiment. The proposed method allowed, on the one hand, to ensure the fulfillment of all conservation laws by a suitable correction of solutions, on the other hand, to use standard methods for the numerical solution of systems of differential equations of low approximation order. Within the framework of this method, the trajectory of a gravitational system in phase space is assembled from parts, the duration of each of which can be macroscopic. The constructed trajectory, generally speaking, is discontinuous, and the points of joining of individual pieces of the trajectory act as branch points. In connection with the latter circumstance, the proposed method, in part, can be attributed to the class of Monte Carlo methods. The general conclusion of a series of computational experiments has shown that gravitational systems of general position with a number of bodies of 3 or more, generally speaking, are unstable. In the framework of the proposed method, special cases of zero-equal angular momentum of a gravitational system with a number of bodies of 3 or more, as well as the problem of motion of two bodies, are specially considered. The case of numerical modeling of the dynamics of the solar system in time is considered separately. From the standpoint of computational experiments based on analytical methods, as well as direct numerical methods of high-order approximation (10 and higher), the stability of the solar system was previously demonstrated at an interval of five billion years or more. Due to the limitations on the available computational resources, the stability of the dynamics of the planets of the solar system within the framework of the proposed method was confirmed for a period of ten million years. With the help of a computational experiment, one of the possible scenarios for the disintegration of the solar systems is also considered.

Numerical study of thermal destruction of the ”Chelyabinsk” meteorite when entering the Earth’s atmosphere
Computer Research and Modeling, 2013, v. 5, no. 6, pp. 941-956Citations: 4 (RSCI).A mathematical model for the numerical study of thermal destruction of the "Chelyabinsk" meteorite when entering the Earth’s atmosphere is presented in the article. The study was conducted in the framework of an integrated approach, including the calculation of the meteorite trajectory associated with the physical processes connected with the meteorite motion. Together with the trajectory the flow field and radiation-convective heat
transfer were determined as well as warming and destruction of the meteorite under the influence of the calculated heat load. An integrated approach allows to determine the trajectories of space objects more precisely, predict the area of their fall and destruction. -
Development of the remotely piloted agricultural aircraft (RPAA) control system on the basis of the airplane MV-500
Computer Research and Modeling, 2018, v. 10, no. 3, pp. 315-323Views (last year): 20.The article presents the intermediate results of the development of a control system for a remotely piloted agricultural aircraft (RPAA). The concept of using an automated complex for performing aerochemical work (ACW) designed for processing fields, water areas, forests with the purpose of protection from pests of plants, fertilization is developed. The basic component of the complex is a manned agricultural aircraft MV-500 developed by LLC “Firm “MVEN” (Kazan). The use of the aircraft in unmanned mode will provide an increase in the productivity of the aircraft, will increase the payload.
The article defines the composition of the complex for automation of ACW: aircraft, ground control center, onboard equipment for automated control of the aircraft and the formation of a map of the heights of the section being processed, and the satellite precise positioning system necessary to automate the control of the aircraft. The aircraft is equipped with an automated control system that provides remote control of take-off and landing and automatic control of the flight trajectory at extremely low altitude when performing ACW and performing spatial turns at the boundaries of the treated areas. It is proposed to take off, landing, dropping an aircraft into the ACW exercise area by means of a pilot operator from a ground control station. The ground control point should provide reception and display on the operator's screen of flight information and several types from the aircraft. The operator can control alternately several aircraft during these phases of flight with the help of ground control authorities. In the future, it is planned to automate these stages of flight, leaving behind the pilot-operator control functions and remote control capabilities in special cases. For the navigation of the aircraft, when performing ACW on board, RTK (Real Time Kinematic) equipment is installed, providing a measurement with centimeter accuracy of coordinates and aircraft heights relative to the base station installed in the ground control station. Before the implementation of ACW, a three-dimensional digital map of the processed area is built by adding existing cadastral maps with measurements of the elevations of the section carried out with the help of on-board radio and optical altimeters of the same aircraft.
To date, the following system components have been manufactured and tested: a remotely controlled model of the MV-500 aircraft at a scale of 1:5, a satellite positioning system; system for obtaining images and telemetry information from the board model; autopilot; methods of obtaining three-dimensional digital maps of sections and planning flight trajectories for ACW.

Numerical study of the interaction of a shock wave with moving rotating bodies with a complex shape
Computer Research and Modeling, 2021, v. 13, no. 3, pp. 513-540The work is devoted to the development of a computational algorithm of the Cartesian grid method for studying the interaction of a shock wave with moving bodies with a piecewise linear boundary. The interest in such problems is connected with direct numerical simulation of two-phase media flows. The effect of the particle shape can be important in the problem of dust layer dispersion behind a passing shock wave. Experimental data on the coefficient of aerodynamic drag of non-spherical particles are practically absent.
Mathematical model is based on the two-dimensional Euler equations, which are solved in a region with varying boundaries. The defining system of equations is integrated using an explicit scheme and the Cartesian grid method. The computational algorithm at the time integration step includes: determining the step value, calculating the dynamics of the body movement (determining the force and moment acting on the body; determining the linear and angular velocities of the body; calculating the new coordinates of the body), calculating the gas parameters. At each time step, all cells are divided into two classes – external (inside the body or intersected by its boundaries) and internal (completely filled with gas). The solution of the Euler equations is constructed only in the internal ones. The main difficulty is the calculation of the numerical flux through the edges common to the internal and external cells intersected by the moving boundaries of the bodies. To calculate this flux, we use a two-wave approximation for solving the Riemann problem and the Steger-Warming scheme. A detailed description of the numerical algorithm is presented.
The efficiency of the algorithm is demonstrated on the problem of lifting a cylinder with a base in the form of a circle, ellipse and rectangle behind a passing shock wave. A circular cylinder test was considered in many papers devoted to the immersed boundary methods development. A qualitative and quantitative analysis of the trajectory of the cylinder center mass is carried out on the basis of comparison with the results of simulations presented in eight other works. For a cylinder with a base in the form of an ellipse and a rectangle, a satisfactory agreement was obtained on the dynamics of its movement and rotation in comparison with the available few literary sources. Grid convergence of the results is investigated for the rectangle. It is shown that the relative error of mass conservation law fulfillment decreases with a linear rate.

Computational design of closed-chain linkages: synthesis of ergonomic spine support module of exosuit
Computer Research and Modeling, 2022, v. 14, no. 6, pp. 1269-1280The article focuses on the problem of mechanisms’ co-design for robotic systems to perform adaptive physical interaction with an unstructured environment, including physical human robot interaction. The co-design means simultaneous optimization of mechanics and control system, ensuring optimal behavior and performance of the system. Mechanics optimization refers to the search for optimal structure, geometric parameters, mass distribution among the links and their compliance; control refers to the search for motion trajectories for mechanism’s joints. The paper presents a generalized method of structural-parametric synthesis of underactuated mechanisms with closed kinematics for robotic systems for various purposes, e. g., it was previously used for the co-design of fingers’ mechanisms for anthropomorphic gripper and legs’ mechanisms for galloping robots. The method implements the concept of morphological computation of control laws due to the features of mechanical design, minimizing the control effort from the algorithmic component of the control system, which reduces the requirements for the level of technical equipment and reduces energy consumption. In this paper, the proposed method is used to optimize the structure and geometric parameters of the passive mechanism of the back support module of an industrial exosuit. Human movements are diverse and non-deterministic when compared with the movements of autonomous robots, which complicates the design of wearable robotic devices. To reduce injuries, fatigue and increase the productivity of workers, the synthesized industrial exosuit should not only compensate for loads, but also not interfere with the natural human motions. To test the developed exosuit, kinematic datasets from motion capture of an entire human body during industrial operations were used. The proposed method of structural-parametric synthesis was used to improve the ergonomics of a wearable robotic device. Verification of the synthesized mechanism was carried out using simulation: the passive module of the back is attached to two geometric primitives that move the chest and pelvis of the exosuit operator in accordance with the motion capture data. The ergonomics of the back module is quantified by the distance between the joints connecting the upper and bottom parts of the exosuit; minimizing deviation from the average value corresponds to a lesser limitation of the operator’s movement, i. e. greater ergonomics. The article provides a detailed description of the method of structural-parametric synthesis, an example of synthesis of an exosuit module and the results of simulation.

On one resolvent method for integrating the low angle trajectories of a heavy point projectile motion under quadratic air resistance
Computer Research and Modeling, 2011, v. 3, no. 3, pp. 265-277Views (last year): 1. Citations: 6 (RSCI).New key parameters, namely b0 = tgθ0, θ0 — angle of throwing, Ra — top curvature radius and β0 — dimensionless speed square on the top of low angular trajectory were suggested in classic problem of integrating nonlinear equations of point mass projectile motion with quadratic air drag. Very precise formulae were obtained in a new way for coordinates x(b), y(b) and fly time t(b), b = tgθ where θ is inclination angle. This method is based on Legendre transformation and its precision is automatically improved in wide range of the θ0 values and drag force parameters α. The precision was monitored by Maple computing product.

On quality of object tracking algorithms
Computer Research and Modeling, 2012, v. 4, no. 2, pp. 303-313Views (last year): 20. Citations: 9 (RSCI).Object movement on a video is classified on the regular (object movement on continuous trajectory) and non-regular (trajectory breaks due to object occlusions by other objects, object jumps and others). In the case of regular object movement a tracker is considered as a dynamical system that enables to use conditions of existence, uniqueness, and stability of the dynamical system solution. This condition is used as the correctness criterion of the tracking process. Also, quantitative criterion for correct mean-shift tracking assessment based on the Lipchitz condition is suggested. Results are generalized for arbitrary tracker.

The tests for checking of the parallel organization in logical calculation which are based on the algebra and the automats
Computer Research and Modeling, 2017, v. 9, no. 4, pp. 621-638Views (last year): 14. Citations: 1 (RSCI).We build new tests which permit to increase the human capacity for the information processing by the parallel execution of the several logic operations of prescribed type. For checking of the causes of the capacity increasing we develop the check tests on the same logic operations class in which the parallel organization of the calculations is low-effectively. We use the apparatus of the universal algebra and automat theory. This article is the extension of the cycle of the work, which investigates the human capacity for the parallel calculations. The general publications on this theme content in the references. The tasks in the described tests may to define in the form of the calculation of the result in the sequence of the same type operations from some algebra. If this operation is associative then the parallel calculation is effectively by successful grouping of process. In Theory of operations that is the using the simultaneous work several processors. Each processor transforms in the time unit the certain known number of the elements of the input date or the intermediate results (the processor productivity). Now it is not known what kind elements of date are using by the brain for the logical or mathematical calculation, and how many elements are treating in the time units. Therefore the test contains the sequence of the presentations of the tasks with different numbers of logical operations in the fixed alphabet. That is the measure of the complexity for the task. The analysis of the depending of the time for the task solution from the complexity gives the possible to estimate the processor productivity and the form of the calculate organization. For the sequence calculations only one processor is working, and the time of solution is a line function of complexity. If the new processors begin to work in parallel when the complexities of the task increase than the depending of the solution time from complexity is represented by the curve which is convex at the bottom. For the detection of situation when the man increases the speed of the single processor under the condition of the increasing complexity we use the task series with similar operations but in the no associate algebra. In such tasks the parallel calculation is little affectivity in the sense of the increasing efficiency by the increasing the number of processors. That is the check set of the tests. In article we consider still one class of the tests, which are based on the calculation of the trajectory of the formal automat state if the input sequence is determined. We investigate the special class of automats (relay) for which the construction affect on the affectivity of the parallel calculations of the final automat state. For all tests we estimate the affectivity of the parallel calculation. This article do not contained the experiment results.
