Semiclassical approximation for the nonlocal multidimensional Fisher–Kolmogorov–Petrovskii–Piskunov equation
Computer Research and Modeling, 2015, v. 7, no. 2, pp. 205-219Views (last year): 4.Semiclassical asymptotic solutions with accuracy $O(D^{N/2})$, $N\geqslant3$ are constructed for the multidimensional Fisher–Kolmogorov–Petrovskii–Piskunov equation in the class of trajectory-concentrated functions. Using the symmetry operators a countable set of asymptotic solutions with accuracy $O(D^{3/2})$ is obtained. Asymptotic solutions of two-dimensional Fisher–Kolmogorov–Petrovskii–Piskunov equation are found in explicit

Classification of dynamical switching regimes in a three-layered ferromagnetic nanopillar governed by spin-polarized injection current and external magnetic field. I. Longitudinal anisotropy
Computer Research and Modeling, 2016, v. 8, no. 4, pp. 605-620Views (last year): 2. Citations: 6 (RSCI).The mathematical model of the magnetic memory cell MRAM with the in-plane anisotropy axis parallel to the edge of a free ferromagnetic layer (longitudinal anisotropy) has been constructed using approximation of uniform magnetization. The model is based on the Landau–Lifshits–Gilbert equation with the injection-current term in the Sloncžewski–Berger form. The set of ordinary differential equations for magnetization dynamics in a three-layered Co/Cu/Cu valve under the control of external magnetic field and spin-polarized current has been derived in the normal coordinate form. It was shown that the set of equations has two main stationary points on the anisotropy axis at any values of field and current. The stationary analysis of them has been performed. The algebraic equations for determination of additional stationary points have been derived. It has been shown that, depending on the field and current magnitude, the set of equations can have altogether two, four, or six stationary points symmetric in pairs relatively the anisotropy axis. The bifurcation diagrams for all the points have been constructed. The classification of the corresponding phase portraits has been performed. The typical trajectories were calculated numerically using Runge–Kutta method. The regions, where stable and unstable limit cycles exist, have been determined. It was found that the unstable limit cycles exist around the main stable equilibrium point on the axis that coincides with the anisotropy one, whereas the stable cycles surround the unstable additional points of equilibrium. The area of their existence was determined numerically. The new types of dynamics, such as accidental switching and non-complete switching, have been found. The threshold values of switching current and field have been obtained analytically. The estimations of switching times have been performed numerically.

Modeling time series trajectories using the Liouville equation
Computer Research and Modeling, 2024, v. 16, no. 3, pp. 585-598This paper presents algorithm for modeling set of trajectories of non-stationary time series, based on a numerical scheme for approximating the sample density of the distribution function in a problem with fixed ends, when the initial distribution for a given number of steps transforms into a certain final distribution, so that at each step the semigroup property of solving the Liouville equation is satisfied. The model makes it possible to numerically construct evolving densities of distribution functions during random switching of states of the system generating the original time series.
The main problem is related to the fact that with the numerical implementation of the left-hand differential derivative in time, the solution becomes unstable, but such approach corresponds to the modeling of evolution. An integrative approach is used while choosing implicit stable schemes with “going into the future”, this does not match the semigroup property at each step. If, on the other hand, some real process is being modeled, in which goal-setting presumably takes place, then it is desirable to use schemes that generate a model of the transition process. Such model is used in the future in order to build a predictor of the disorder, which will allow you to determine exactly what state the process under study is going into, before the process really went into it. The model described in the article can be used as a tool for modeling real non-stationary time series.
Steps of the modeling scheme are described further. Fragments corresponding to certain states are selected from a given time series, for example, trends with specified slope angles and variances. Reference distributions of states are compiled from these fragments. Then the empirical distributions of the duration of the system’s stay in the specified states and the duration of the transition time from state to state are determined. In accordance with these empirical distributions, a probabilistic model of the disorder is constructed and the corresponding trajectories of the time series are modeled.

The Einstein−Ehrenfest system of (0, M)-type and asymptotical solutions of the multidimensional nonlinear Fokker−Planck−Kolmogorov equation
Computer Research and Modeling, 2010, v. 2, no. 2, pp. 151-160Views (last year): 2.Semiclassical approximation formalism is developed for the multidimensional Fokker–Planck–Kolmogorov equation with non-local and nonlinear drift vector with respect to a small diffusion coefficient D, D→0, in the class of trajectory concentrated functions. The Einstein−Ehrenfest system of (0, M)-type is obtained. A family of semiclassical solutions localized around a point driven by the Einstein−Ehrenfest system accurate to O(D(M+1)/2) is found.

Mathematical modeling of oscillator hereditarity
Computer Research and Modeling, 2015, v. 7, no. 5, pp. 1001-1021Views (last year): 4. Citations: 12 (RSCI).The paper considers hereditarity oscillator which is characterized by oscillation equation with derivatives of fractional order $\beta$ and $\gamma$, which are defined in terms of Gerasimova-Caputo. Using Laplace transform were obtained analytical solutions and the Green’s function, which are determined through special functions of Mittag-Leffler and Wright generalized function. It is proved that for fixed values of $\beta = 2$ and $\gamma = 1$, the solution found becomes the classical solution for a harmonic oscillator. According to the obtained solutions were built calculated curves and the phase trajectories hereditarity oscillatory process. It was found that in the case of an external periodic influence on hereditarity oscillator may occur effects inherent in classical nonlinear oscillators.

Classification of dynamical switching regimes in a three-layered ferromagnetic nanopillar governed by spin-polarized injection current and external magnetic field. II. Perpendicular anisotropy
Computer Research and Modeling, 2016, v. 8, no. 5, pp. 755-764Views (last year): 4. Citations: 1 (RSCI).The mathematical model of a three-layered Co/Cu/Co nanopillar for MRAM cell with one fixed and one free layer was investigated in the approximation of uniformly distributed magnetization. The anisotropy axis is perpendicular to the layers (so-called perpendicular anisotropy). Initially the magnetization of the free layer is oriented along the anisotropy axis in the position accepted to be “zero”. Simultaneous magnetic field and spinpolarized current engaging can reorient the magnetization to another position which in this context can be accepted as “one”. The mathematical description of the effect is based on the classical vector Landau–Lifshits equation with the dissipative term in the Gilbert form. In our model we took into account the interactions of the magnetization with an external magnetic field and such effective magnetic fields as an anisotropy and demagnetization ones. The influence of the spin-polarized injection current is taken into account in the form of Sloczewski–Berger term. The model was reduced to the set of three ordinary differential equations with the first integral. It was shown that at any current and field the dynamical system has two main equilibrium states on the axis coincident with anisotropy axis. It was ascertained that in contrast with the longitudinal-anisotropy model, in the model with perpendicular anisotropy there are no other equilibrium states. The stability analysis of the main equilibrium states was performed. The bifurcation diagrams characterizing the magnetization dynamics at different values of the control parameters were built. The classification of the phase portraits on the unit sphere was performed. The features of the dynamics at different values of the parameters were studied and the conditions of the magnetization reorientation were determined. The trajectories of magnetization switching were calculated numerically using the Runge–Kutta method. The parameter values at which limit cycles exist were determined. The threshold values for the switching current were found analytically. The threshold values for the structures with longitudinal and perpendicular anisotropy were compared. It was established that in the structure with the perpendicular anisotropy at zero field the switching current is an order lower than in the structure with the longitudinal one.

Bayesian localization for autonomous vehicle using sensor fusion and traffic signs
Computer Research and Modeling, 2018, v. 10, no. 3, pp. 295-303Views (last year): 22.The localization of a vehicle is an important task in the field of intelligent transportation systems. It is well known that sensor fusion helps to create more robust and accurate systems for autonomous vehicles. Standard approaches, like extended Kalman Filter or Particle Filter, are inefficient in case of highly non-linear data or have high computational cost, which complicates using them in embedded systems. Significant increase of precision, especially in case when GPS (Global Positioning System) is unavailable, may be achieved by using landmarks with known location — such as traffic signs, traffic lights, or SLAM (Simultaneous Localization and Mapping) features. However, this approach may be inapplicable if a priori locations are unknown or not accurate enough. We suggest a new approach for refining coordinates of a vehicle by using landmarks, such as traffic signs. Core part of the suggested system is the Bayesian framework, which refines vehicle location using external data about the previous traffic signs detections, collected with crowdsourcing. This paper presents an approach that combines trajectories built using global coordinates from GPS and relative coordinates from Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU) to produce a vehicle's trajectory in an unknown environment. In addition, we collected a new dataset, including from smartphone GPS and IMU sensors, video feed from windshield camera, which were recorded during 4 car rides on the same route. Also, we collected precise location data from Real Time Kinematic Global Navigation Satellite System (RTK-GNSS) device, which can be used for validation. This RTK-GNSS system was used to collect precise data about the traffic signs locations on the route as well. The results show that the Bayesian approach helps with the trajectory correction and gives better estimations with the increase of the amount of the prior information. The suggested method is efficient and requires, apart from the GPS/IMU measurements, only information about the vehicle locations during previous traffic signs detections.

Simulation of flight and destruction of the Benešov bolid
Computer Research and Modeling, 2018, v. 10, no. 5, pp. 605-618Views (last year): 24. Citations: 1 (RSCI).Comets and asteroids are recognized by the scientists and the governments of all countries in the world to be one of the most significant threats to the development and even the existence of our civilization. Preventing this threat includes studying the motion of large meteors through the atmosphere that is accompanied by various physical and chemical phenomena. Of particular interest to such studies are the meteors whose trajectories have been recorded and whose fragments have been found on Earth. Here, we study one of such cases. We develop a model for the motion and destruction of natural bodies in the Earth’s atmosphere, focusing on the Benešov bolid (EN070591), a bright meteor registered in 1991 in the Czech Republic by the European Observation System. Unique data, that includes the radiation spectra, is available for this bolid. We simulate the aeroballistics of the Benešov meteoroid and of its fragments, taking into account destruction due to thermal and mechanical processes. We compute the velocity of the meteoroid and its mass ablation using the equations of the classical theory of meteor motion, taking into account the variability of the mass ablation along the trajectory. The fragmentation of the meteoroid is considered using the model of sequential splitting and the statistical stress theory, that takes into account the dependency of the mechanical strength on the length scale. We compute air flows around a system of bodies (shards of the meteoroid) in the regime where mutual interplay between them is essential. To that end, we develop a method of simulating air flows based on a set of grids that allows us to consider fragments of various shapes, sizes, and masses, as well as arbitrary positions of the fragments relative to each other. Due to inaccuracies in the early simulations of the motion of this bolid, its fragments could not be located for about 23 years. Later and more accurate simulations have allowed researchers to locate four of its fragments rather far from the location expected earlier. Our simulations of the motion and destruction of the Benešov bolid show that its interaction with the atmosphere is affected by multiple factors, such as the mass and the mechanical strength of the bolid, the parameters of its motion, the mechanisms of destruction, and the interplay between its fragments.

Modeling the flight of meteoroid fragments with accounting for rotation
Computer Research and Modeling, 2019, v. 11, no. 4, pp. 593-612Views (last year): 6.An algorithm for solving the conjugation of aerodynamic and ballistic problems, which is based on the method of modeling with the help of a grid system, has been complemented by a numerical mechanism that allows to take into account the relative movement and rotation of bodies relative to their centers of mass. For a given configuration of the bodies a problem of flow is solved by relaxation method. After that the state of the system is recalculated after a short amount of time. With the use of iteration it is possible to trace the dynamics of the system over a large period of time. The algorithm is implemented for research of flight of systems of bodies taking into account their relative position and rotation. The algorithm was tested on the problem of flow around a body with segmental-conical form. A good correlation of the results with experimental studies was shown. The algorithm is used to calculate the problem of the supersonic fight of a rotating body. For bodies of rectangular shape, imitating elongated fragments of a meteoroid, it is shown that for elongated bodies the aerodynamically more stable position is flight with a larger area across the direction of flight. This de facto leads to flight of bodies with the greatest possible aerodynamic resistance due to the maximum midship area. The algorithm is used to calculate the flight apart of two identical bodies of a rectangular shape, taking into account their rotation. Rotation leads to the fact that the bodies fly apart not only under the action of the pushing aerodynamic force but also the additional lateral force due to the acquisition of the angle of attack. The velocity of flight apart of two fragments with elongated shape of a meteoric body increases to three times with the account of rotation in comparison with the case, when it is assumed that the bodies do not rotate. The study was carried out in order to evaluate the influence of various factors on the velocity of fragmentation of the meteoric body after destruction in order to construct possible trajectories of fallen on earth meteorites. A developed algorithm for solving the conjugation of aerodynamic and ballistic problems, taking into account the relative movement and rotation of the bodies, can be used to solve technical problems, for example, to study the dynamics of separation of aircraft stages.
