Integration the relativistic wave equations in Bianchi IX cosmology model
Computer Research and Modeling, 2016, v. 8, no. 3, pp. 433-443We consider integration Clein–Gordon and Dirac equations in Bianchi IX cosmology model. Using the noncommutative integration method we found the new exact solutions for Taub universe.
Noncommutative integration method for Bianchi IX model is based on the use of the special infinite-dimensional holomorphic representation of the rotation group, which is based on the nondegenerate orbit adjoint representation, and complex polarization of degenerate covector. The matrix elements of the representation of form a complete and orthogonal set and allow you to use the generalized Fourier transform. Casimir operator for rotation group under this transformation becomes constant. And the symmetry operators generated by the Killing vector fields in the linear differential operators of the first order from one dependent variable. Thus, the relativistic wave equation on the rotation group allow non-commutative reduction to ordinary differential equations. In contrast to the well-known method of separation of variables, noncommutative integration method takes into account the non-Abelian algebra of symmetry operators and provides solutions that carry information about the non-commutative symmetry of the task. Such solutions can be useful for measuring the vacuum quantum effects and the calculation of the Green’s functions by the splitting-point method.
The work for the Taub model compared the solutions obtained with the known, which are obtained by separation of variables. It is shown that the non-commutative solutions are expressed in terms of elementary functions, while the known solutions are defined by the Wigner function. And commutative reduced by the Klein–Gordon equation for Taub model coincides with the equation, reduced by separation of variables. A commutative reduced by the Dirac equation is equivalent to the reduced equation obtained by separation of variables.

Approximation of analytic functions by repeated de la Vallee Poussin sums
Computer Research and Modeling, 2019, v. 11, no. 3, pp. 367-377Views (last year): 45.The paper deals with the problems of approximation of periodic functions of high smoothness by arithmetic means of Fourier sums. The simplest and natural example of a linear process of approximation of continuous periodic functions of a real variable is the approximation of these functions by partial sums of the Fourier series. However, the sequences of partial Fourier sums are not uniformly convergent over the entire class of continuous $2\pi$-periodic functions. In connection with this, a significant number of papers is devoted to the study of the approximative properties of other approximation methods, which are generated by certain transformations of the partial sums of Fourier series and allow us to construct sequences of trigonometrical polynomials that would be uniformly convergent for each function $f \in C$. In particular, over the past decades, de la Vallee Poussin sums and Fejer sums have been widely studied. One of the most important directions in this field is the study of the asymptotic behavior of upper bounds of deviations of arithmetic means of Fourier sums on different classes of periodic functions. Methods of investigation of integral representations of deviations of polynomials on the classes of periodic differentiable functions of real variable originated and received its development through the works of S.M. Nikol’sky, S.B. Stechkin, N.P. Korneichuk, V.K. Dzadyk, etc.
The aim of the work systematizes known results related to the approximation of classes of periodic functions of high smoothness by arithmetic means of Fourier sums, and presents new facts obtained for particular cases. In the paper is studied the approximative properties of $r$-repeated de la Vallee Poussin sums on the classes of periodic functions that can be regularly extended into the fixed strip of the complex plane. We obtain asymptotic formulas for upper bounds of the deviations of repeated de la Vallee Poussin sums taken over classes of periodic analytic functions. In certain cases, these formulas give a solution of the corresponding Kolmogorov–Nikolsky problem. We indicate conditions under which the repeated de la Vallee Poussin sums guarantee a better order of approximation than ordinary de la Vallee Poussin sums.

Comparative analysis of finite difference method and finite volume method for unsteady natural convection and thermal radiation in a cubical cavity filled with a diathermic medium
Computer Research and Modeling, 2017, v. 9, no. 4, pp. 567-578Views (last year): 13. Citations: 1 (RSCI).Comparative analysis of two numerical methods for simulation of unsteady natural convection and thermal surface radiation within a differentially heated cubical cavity has been carried out. The considered domain of interest had two isothermal opposite vertical faces, while other walls are adiabatic. The walls surfaces were diffuse and gray, namely, their directional spectral emissivity and absorptance do not depend on direction or wavelength but can depend on surface temperature. For the reflected radiation we had two approaches such as: 1) the reflected radiation is diffuse, namely, an intensity of the reflected radiation in any point of the surface is uniform for all directions; 2) the reflected radiation is uniform for each surface of the considered enclosure. Mathematical models formulated both in primitive variables “velocity–pressure” and in transformed variables “vector potential functions – vorticity vector” have been performed numerically using finite volume method and finite difference methods, respectively. It should be noted that radiative heat transfer has been analyzed using the net-radiation method in Poljak approach.
Using primitive variables and finite volume method for the considered boundary-value problem we applied power-law for an approximation of convective terms and central differences for an approximation of diffusive terms. The difference motion and energy equations have been solved using iterative method of alternating directions. Definition of the pressure field associated with velocity field has been performed using SIMPLE procedure.
Using transformed variables and finite difference method for the considered boundary-value problem we applied monotonic Samarsky scheme for convective terms and central differences for diffusive terms. Parabolic equations have been solved using locally one-dimensional Samarsky scheme. Discretization of elliptic equations for vector potential functions has been conducted using symmetric approximation of the second-order derivatives. Obtained difference equation has been solved by successive over-relaxation method. Optimal value of the relaxation parameter has been found on the basis of computational experiments.
As a result we have found the similar distributions of velocity and temperature in the case of these two approaches for different values of Rayleigh number, that illustrates an operability of the used techniques. The efficiency of transformed variables with finite difference method for unsteady problems has been shown.

The purposeful transformation of mathematical models based on strategic reflection
Computer Research and Modeling, 2019, v. 11, no. 5, pp. 815-831The study of complex processes in various spheres of human activity is traditionally based on the use of mathematical models. In modern conditions, the development and application of such models is greatly simplified by the presence of high-speed computer equipment and specialized tools that allow, in fact, designing models from pre-prepared modules. Despite this, the known problems associated with ensuring the adequacy of the model, the reliability of the original data, the implementation in practice of the simulation results, the excessively large dimension of the original data, the joint application of sufficiency heterogeneous mathematical models in terms of complexity and integration of the simulated processes are becoming increasingly important. The more critical may be the external constraints imposed on the value of the optimized functional, and often unattainable within the framework of the constructed model. It is logical to assume that in order to fulfill these restrictions, a purposeful transformation of the original model is necessary, that is, the transition to a mathematical model with a deliberately improved solution. The new model will obviously have a different internal structure (a set of parameters and their interrelations), as well as other formats (areas of definition) of the source data. The possibilities of purposeful change of the initial model investigated by the authors are based on the realization of the idea of strategic reflection. The most difficult in mathematical terms practical implementation of the author's idea is the use of simulation models, for which the algorithms for finding optimal solutions have known limitations, and the study of sensitivity in most cases is very difficult. On the example of consideration of rather standard discrete- event simulation model the article presents typical methodological techniques that allow ranking variable parameters by sensitivity and, in the future, to expand the scope of definition of variable parameter to which the simulation model is most sensitive. In the transition to the “improved” model, it is also possible to simultaneously exclude parameters from it, the influence of which on the optimized functional is insignificant, and vice versa — the introduction of new parameters corresponding to real processes into the model.

Modeling the structure of a complex system based on estimation of the measure of interaction of subsystems
Computer Research and Modeling, 2020, v. 12, no. 4, pp. 707-719The using of determining the measure of interaction between channels when choosing the configuration structure of a control system for complex dynamic objects is considered in the work. The main methods for determining the measure of interaction between subsystems of complex control systems based on the methods RGA (Relative Gain Array), Dynamic RGA, HIIA (Hankel Interaction Index Array), PM (Participation matrix) are presented. When choosing a control configuration, simple configurations are preferable, as they are simple in design, maintenance and more resistant to failures. However, complex configurations provide higher performance control systems. Processes in large dynamic objects are characterized by a high degree of interaction between process variables. For the design of the control structure interaction measures are used, namely, the selection of the control structure and the decision on the configuration of the controller. The choice of control structure is to determine which dynamic connections should be used to design the controller. When a structure is selected, connections can be used to configure the controller. For large systems, it is proposed to pre-group the components of the vectors of input and output signals of the actuators and sensitive elements into sets in which the number of variables decreases significantly in order to select a control structure. A quantitative estimation of the decentralization of the control system based on minimizing the sum of the off-diagonal elements of the PM matrix is given. An example of estimation the measure of interaction between components of strong coupled subsystems and the measure of interaction between components of weak coupled subsystems is given. A quantitative estimation is given of neglecting the interaction of components of weak coupled subsystems. The construction of a weighted graph for visualizing the interaction of the subsystems of a complex system is considered. A method for the formation of the controllability gramian on the vector of output signals that is invariant to state vector transformations is proposed in the paper. An example of the decomposition of the stabilization system of the components of the flying vehicle angular velocity vector is given. The estimation of measures of the mutual influence of processes in the channels of control systems makes it possible to increase the reliability of the systems when accounting for the use of analytical redundancy of information from various devices, which reduces the mass and energy consumption. Methods for assessing measures of the interaction of processes in subsystems of control systems can be used in the design of complex systems, for example, motion control systems, orientation and stabilization systems of vehicles.

Relaxation model of viscous heat-conducting gas
Computer Research and Modeling, 2022, v. 14, no. 1, pp. 23-43A hyperbolic model of a viscous heat-conducting gas is presented, in which the Maxwell – Cattaneo approach is used to hyperbolize the equations, which provides finite wave propagation velocities. In the modified model, instead of the original Stokes and Fourier laws, their relaxation analogues were used and it is shown that when the relaxation times $\tau_\sigma^{}$ и $\tau_w^{}$ tend to The hyperbolized equations are reduced to zero to the classical Navier – Stokes system of non-hyperbolic type with infinite velocities of viscous and heat waves. It is noted that the hyperbolized system of equations of motion of a viscous heat-conducting gas considered in this paper is invariant not only with respect to the Galilean transformations, but also with respect to rotation, since the Yaumann derivative is used when differentiating the components of the viscous stress tensor in time. To integrate the equations of the model, the hybrid Godunov method (HGM) and the multidimensional nodal method of characteristics were used. The HGM is intended for the integration of hyperbolic systems in which there are equations written both in divergent form and not resulting in such (the original Godunov method is used only for systems of equations presented in divergent form). A linearized solver’s Riemann is used to calculate flow variables on the faces of adjacent cells. For divergent equations, a finitevolume approximation is applied, and for non-divergent equations, a finite-difference approximation is applied. To calculate a number of problems, we also used a non-conservative multidimensional nodal method of characteristics, which is based on splitting the original system of equations into a number of one-dimensional subsystems, for solving which a one-dimensional nodal method of characteristics was used. Using the described numerical methods, a number of one-dimensional problems on the decay of an arbitrary rupture are solved, and a two-dimensional flow of a viscous gas is calculated when a shock jump interacts with a rectangular step that is impermeable to gas.

A new form of differential equations in modeling of the motion of a heavy solid
Computer Research and Modeling, 2016, v. 8, no. 6, pp. 873-884Views (last year): 6.The different types of the reduced equations are known in the dynamics a heavy rigid body with a fixed point. Since the Euler−Poisson’s equations admit the three first integrals, then for the first approach the obtaining new forms of equations are usually based on these integrals. The system of six scalar equations can be transformed to a third-order system with them. However, in indicated approach the reduced system will have a feature as in the form of radical expressions a relatively the components of the angular velocity vector. This fact prevents the effective the effective application of numerical and asymptotic methods of solutions research. In the second approach the different types of variables in a problem are used: Euler’s angles, Hamilton’s variables and other variables. In this approach the Euler−Poisson’s equations are reduced to either the system of second-order differential equations, or the system for which the special methods are effective. In the article the method of finding the reduced system based on the introduction of an auxiliary variable is applied. This variable characterizes the mixed product of the angular momentum vector, the vector of vertical and the unit vector barycentric axis of the body. The system of four differential equations, two of which are linear differential equations was obtained. This system has no analog and does not contain the features that allows to apply to it the analytical and numerical methods. Received form of equations is applied for the analysis of a special class of solutions in the case when the center of mass of the body belongs to the barycentric axis. The variant in which the sum of the squares of the two components of the angular momentum vector with respect to not barycentric axes is constant. It is proved that this variant exists only in the Steklov’s solution. The obtained form of Euler−Poisson’s equations can be used to the investigation of the conditions of existence of other classes of solutions. Certain perspectives obtained equations consists a record of all solutions for which the center of mass is on barycentric axis in the variables of this article. It allows to carry out a classification solutions of Euler−Poisson’s equations depending on the order of invariant relations. Since the equations system specified in the article has no singularities, it can be considered in computer modeling using numerical methods.

Traveling waves in a parabolic problem with a rotation on the circle
Computer Research and Modeling, 2017, v. 9, no. 5, pp. 705-716Views (last year): 11. Citations: 5 (RSCI).Optical systems with two-dimensional feedback demonstrate wide possibilities for studying the nucleation and development processes of dissipative structures. Feedback allows to influence the dynamics of the optical system by controlling the transformation of spatial variables performed by prisms, lenses, dynamic holograms and other devices. A nonlinear interferometer with a mirror image of a field in two-dimensional feedback is one of the simplest optical systems in which is realized the nonlocal nature of light fields.
A mathematical model of optical systems with two-dimensional feedback is a nonlinear parabolic equation with rotation transformation of a spatial variable and periodicity conditions on a circle. Such problems are investigated: bifurcation of the traveling wave type stationary structures, how the form of the solution changes as the diffusion coefficient decreases, dynamics of the solution’s stability when the bifurcation parameter leaves the critical value. For the first time as a parameter bifurcation was taken of diffusion coefficient.
The method of central manifolds and the Galerkin’s method are used in this paper. The method of central manifolds and the Galerkin’s method are used in this paper. The method of central manifolds allows to prove a theorem on the existence and form of the traveling wave type solution neighborhood of the bifurcation value. The first traveling wave born as a result of the Andronov –Hopf bifurcation in the transition of the bifurcation parameter through the сritical value. According to the central manifold theorem, the first traveling wave is born orbitally stable.
Since the above theorem gives the opportunity to explore solutions are born only in the vicinity of the critical values of the bifurcation parameter, the decision to study the dynamics of traveling waves of change during the withdrawal of the bifurcation parameter in the supercritical region, the formalism of the Galerkin method was used. In accordance with the method of the central manifold is made Galerkin’s approximation of the problem solution. As the bifurcation parameter decreases and its transition through the critical value, the zero solution of the problem loses stability in an oscillatory manner. As a result, a periodic solution of the traveling wave type branches off from the zero solution. This wave is born orbitally stable. With further reduction of the parameter and its passage through the next critical value from the zero solution, the second solution of the traveling wave type is produced as a result of the Andronov –Hopf bifurcation. This wave is born unstable with an instability index of two.
Numerical calculations have shown that the application of the Galerkin’s method leads to correct results. The results obtained are in good agreement with the results obtained by other authors and can be used to establish experiments on the study of phenomena in optical systems with feedback.

Simulation of convective-radiative heat transfer in a differentially heated rotating cavity
Computer Research and Modeling, 2018, v. 10, no. 2, pp. 195-207Views (last year): 20.Mathematical simulation of unsteady natural convection and thermal surface radiation within a rotating square enclosure was performed. The considered domain of interest had two isothermal opposite walls subjected to constant low and high temperatures, while other walls are adiabatic. The walls were diffuse and gray. The considered cavity rotated with constant angular velocity relative to the axis that was perpendicular to the cavity and crossed the cavity in the center. Mathematical model, formulated in dimensionless transformed variables “stream function – vorticity” using the Boussinesq approximation and diathermic approach for the medium, was performed numerically using the finite difference method. The vorticity dispersion equation and energy equation were solved using locally one-dimensional Samarskii scheme. The diffusive terms were approximated by central differences, while the convective terms were approximated using monotonic Samarskii scheme. The difference equations were solved by the Thomas algorithm. The approximated Poisson equation for the stream function was solved by successive over-relaxation method. Optimal value of the relaxation parameter was found on the basis of computational experiments. Radiative heat transfer was analyzed using the net-radiation method in Poljak approach. The developed computational code was tested using the grid independence analysis and experimental and numerical results for the model problem.
Numerical analysis of unsteady natural convection and thermal surface radiation within the rotating enclosure was performed for the following parameters: Ra = 103–106, Ta = 0–105, Pr = 0.7, ε = 0–0.9. All distributions were obtained for the twentieth complete revolution when one can find the periodic behavior of flow and heat transfer. As a result we revealed that at low angular velocity the convective flow can intensify but the following growth of angular velocity leads to suppression of the convective flow. The radiative Nusselt number changes weakly with the Taylor number.
