Mathematical models for blood clot growth based on “advection–diffusion” and Fokker–Planck equations
    Computer Research and Modeling, 2014, v. 6, no. 2, pp. 271-283

The paper considers models of platelet thrombus formation in blood plasma flow in a cylindrical vessel, based on the “advection–diffusion” equation and the Fokker–Planck equation. The comparison of the results of calculations based on these models is given. Considered models show qualitatively similar behavior at the initial stage of thrombus formation. А detailed investigation of large clots requires models’ improvement.

Quasicellular networks and their application for simulation of visitor flow in public spaces
    Computer Research and Modeling, 2014, v. 6, no. 2, pp. 285-294

Problems of application of quasicellular networks for simulation of flows of visitors in different public spaces are considered. Quasicellular networks are basic discrete structures without signature. Proposed approach may be used to create simulations on micro and macro levels. It also may be used for creating geometrical models. There are also multi-flow systems for simulation of sports fans in a sports arena, propagation of fire and poison in public spaces. This approach satisfies the requirements of MOE of Russia № 7-3-113.

Correct conditions on the boundary separating subdomains
    Computer Research and Modeling, 2014, v. 6, no. 3, pp. 347-356

This paper presents definition and solution problem of correct conditions on the boundary, separating subdomains for hyperbolic linear equation systems. The solution algorithm is demonstrated by means of an example system of elastodynamic equations for two spatial variables. Stated approach can be easily expanded on systems of first-order linear hyperbolic equations with random number of spatial variables.

    Solids composed of thin plates
    Computer Research and Modeling, 2014, v. 6, no. 5, pp. 655-670

The paper demonstrates a fractal system of thin plates connected with hinges. The system can be studied using the methods of mechanics of solids with internal degrees of freedom. The structure is deployable — initially it is close to a small diameter one-dimensional manifold that occupies significant volume after deployment. The geometry of solids is studied using the method of the moving hedron. The relations enabling to define the geometry of the introduced manifolds are derived based on the Cartan structure equations. The proof substantially makes use of the fact that the fractal consists of thin plates that are not long compared to the sizes of the system. The mechanics is described for the solids with rigid plastic hinges between the plates, when the hinges are made of shape memory material. Based on the ultimate load theorems, estimates are performed to specify internal pressure that is required to deploy the package into a three-dimensional structure, and heat input needed to return the system into its initial state.

Cluster models of molecular motors: kinesin and myosin V
    Computer Research and Modeling, 2014, v. 6, no. 5, pp. 747-760

We present a semiphenomenological model of the two molecular motors: kinesin and myosin V, which play a great role in intracellular transport. The temporal dynamics of changes in the characteristic geometric parameters and the elastic stresses generated during the movement of motors is studied. The rates of movement of kinesin and myosin V, and their dependence on the concentration of ATP are discussed.

R/S method application in neurological speech disorders analyses
    Computer Research and Modeling, 2014, v. 6, no. 5, pp. 775-791

Based on modified rescaled range scale computation algorithm, the technique of Hurst exponent and its characteristic time estimation is proposed. The approach of increase the accuracy and simplification automatic Hurst exponent calculation is developed. The Hurst exponent and characteristic time is calculated for power time sets of speech signals with various motor pathologies (aphasias and dysarthrias). Results is statistically analyzed, the correlation between Hurst exponent and characteristic time is estimated.

Use of URANS approach for determination of temperature fluctuations when mixing triple-jet sodium at different temperatures
    Computer Research and Modeling, 2014, v. 6, no. 6, pp. 923-935

The possibility to study temperature fluctuations using URANS approach is studied. The results of numerical simulation of mixing processes for triple-jet sodium at different temperatures are presented. The processes were simulated using FlowVision software system and LMS model for turbulent heat transfer. The analysis and experiment data are compared. Validated was the possibility to determine the energy-carrying frequencies of temperature fluctuations using URANS approach and LMS model when mixing triple-jet sodium at different temperatures.

Formation of optimal control of nonlinear dynamic object based on Takagi–Sugeno model
    Computer Research and Modeling, 2015, v. 7, no. 1, pp. 51-59

The algorithm of fuzzy control system essentially nonlinear dynamic object is considered in this article. For solving nonlinear optimal control problem is proposed to use the method of linear quadratic regulation (LQR) with fuzzy Takagi–Sugeno model. The algorithm can be used for the design of deterministic optimal control of nonlinear objects. The algorithm of optimal control for controlling the rotational motion of a space vehicle is proposed.
