Estimation of anisotropy of seismic response from fractured geological objects
    Computer Research and Modeling, 2018, v. 10, no. 2, pp. 231-240

Seismic survey process is the common method of prospecting and exploration of deposits: oil and natural gas. Invented at the beginning of the XX century, it has received significant development and is currently used by almost all service oil companies. Its main advantages are the acceptable cost of fieldwork (in comparison with drilling wells) and the accuracy of estimating the characteristics of the subsurface area. However, with the discovery of non-traditional deposits (for example, the Arctic shelf, the Bazhenov Formation), the task of improving existing and creating new seismic data processing technologies became important. Significant development in this direction is possible with the use of numerical simulation of the propagation of seismic waves in realistic models of the geological medium, since it is possible to specify an arbitrary internal structure of the medium with subsequent evaluation of the synthetic signal-response.

The present work is devoted to the study of spatial dynamic processes occurring in geological medium containing fractured inclusions in the process of seismic exploration. The authors constructed a three-dimensional model of a layered massif containing a layer of fluid-saturated cracks, which makes it possible to estimate the signal-response when the structure of the inhomogeneous inclusion is varied. To describe physical processes, we use a system of equations for a linearly elastic body in partial derivatives of the second order, which is solved numerically by a grid-characteristic method on hexahedral grid. In this case, the crack planes are identified at the stage of constructing the grid, and further an additional correction is used to ensure a correct seismic response for the model parameters typical for geological media.

In the paper, three-component area seismograms with a common explosion point were obtained. On their basis, the effect of the structure of a fractured medium on the anisotropy of the seismic response recorded on the day surface at a different distance from the source was estimated. It is established that the kinematic characteristics of the signal remain constant, while the dynamic characteristics for ordered and disordered models can differ by tens of percents.

Wavelet transform with the Morlet wavelet: Calculation methods based on a solution of diffusion equations
    Computer Research and Modeling, 2009, v. 1, no. 1, pp. 5-12

Two algorithms of evaluation of the continuous wavelet transform with the Morlet wavelet are presented. The first one is the solution of PDE with transformed signal, which plays a role of the initial value. The second allows to explore the influence of central frequency variation via the diffusion smoothing of the data modulated by the harmonic functions. These approaches are illustrated by the analysis of the chaotic oscillations of the coupled Roessler systems.

Kink motion by ac external force and dissipation
    Computer Research and Modeling, 2009, v. 1, no. 3, pp. 263-271

We consider SG-kink motion under the ac external force and dissipation assuming that kink shape conserves, and the kink velocity is changing in time. External forces are harmonically dependent upon time and are considered as step functions.

    Polypolar lemniscate coordinate system
    Computer Research and Modeling, 2009, v. 1, no. 3, pp. 251-261

The polypolar coordinate system, as well as classical polar, characterizes a point on a plane by polar radius ρ and polar angle φ, but utilizes multiple poles instead of one pole. Such referencing can be provided by a class of multifocal lemniscates. The family of isometric curves ρ=const — lemniscates — and family of gradient curves φ=const are mutually orthogonal conjugate families.

Role of hydrogen bonds in molecular relaxation during electron transport processes in biological systems
    Computer Research and Modeling, 2009, v. 1, no. 3, pp. 297-320

In molecular systems with hydrogen bonds the mechanism of proton relaxation can take place. It is caused by redistribution of protons between two steady positions in double walls potential along the line of the hydrogen bond. This redistribution occurs at change of parameters of the double walls potential of the hydrogen bond which is caused by change of an electronic state of molecular system. The relaxation process is carried out due to a tunnel transfer of protons along the line of bonds. It is shown, that relaxation process can define temperature dependence of power parameters (either of the free energy differences ΔG or of the reorganization energy λ) of charge recombination P+Q-A from RC of Rhodobacter sphaeroides.

Continuum deployable shells made of thin plates
    Computer Research and Modeling, 2011, v. 3, no. 1, pp. 3-29

This paper covers deployable systems assembled from trapezium plates. When the plate package is unwrapped, a net shell with six loop cells is formed. It is proved that additional degrees of freedom appear in case of certain correlation between the sizes of the six loop faces. When thin plates were used, the continuum approximation of the deployed net could be interpreted as a shell with a wide variety of local curvatures. Kinematics of the continuum model is analyzed by the method of Cartan moving hedron. Mechanical behavior of continuum nets is studied when cylindrical hinges between the plates are completed of shape memory plastic materials. The paper researches into shell transformations from one stable form to the other. Various practical applications of the continuum nets are demonstrated.
