Automated citation graph building from a corpora of scientific documents
Computer Research and Modeling, 2012, v. 4, no. 4, pp. 707-719Views (last year): 5. Citations: 1 (RSCI).In this paper the problem of automated building of a citation graph from a collection of scientific documents is considered as a sequence of machine learning tasks. The overall data processing technology is described which consists of six stages: preprocessing, metainformation extraction, bibliography lists extraction, splitting bibliography lists into separate bibliography records, standardization of each bibliography record, and record linkage. The goal of this paper is to provide a survey of approaches and algorithms suitable for each stage, motivate the choice of the best combination of algorithms, and adapt some of them for multilingual bibliographies processing. For some of the tasks new algorithms and heuristics are proposed and evaluated on the mixed English and Russian documents corpora.

Four-factor computing experiment for the random walk on a two-dimensional square field
Computer Research and Modeling, 2017, v. 9, no. 6, pp. 905-918Views (last year): 21.Nowadays the random search became a widespread and effective tool for solving different complex optimization and adaptation problems. In this work, the problem of an average duration of a random search for one object by another is regarded, depending on various factors on a square field. The problem solution was carried out by holding total experiment with 4 factors and orthogonal plan with 54 lines. Within each line, the initial conditions and the cellular automaton transition rules were simulated and the duration of the search for one object by another was measured. As a result, the regression model of average duration of a random search for an object depending on the four factors considered, specifying the initial positions of two objects, the conditions of their movement and detection is constructed. The most significant factors among the factors considered in the work that determine the average search time are determined. An interpretation is carried out in the problem of random search for an object from the constructed model. The important result of the work is that the qualitative and quantitative influence of initial positions of objects, the size of the lattice and the transition rules on the average duration of search is revealed by means of model obtained. It is shown that the initial neighborhood of objects on the lattice does not guarantee a quick search, if each of them moves. In addition, it is quantitatively estimated how many times the average time of searching for an object can increase or decrease with increasing the speed of the searching object by 1 unit, and also with increasing the field size by 1 unit, with different initial positions of the two objects. The exponential nature of the growth in the number of steps for searching for an object with an increase in the lattice size for other fixed factors is revealed. The conditions for the greatest increase in the average search duration are found: the maximum distance of objects in combination with the immobility of one of them when the field size is changed by 1 unit. (that is, for example, with $4 \times 4$ at $5 \times 5$) can increase the average search duration in $e^{1.69} \approx 5.42$. The task presented in the work may be relevant from the point of view of application both in the landmark for ensuring the security of the state, and, for example, in the theory of mass service.

On the construction and properties of WENO schemes order five, seven, nine, eleven and thirteen. Part 2. Numerical examples
Computer Research and Modeling, 2016, v. 8, no. 6, pp. 885-910Views (last year): 13.WENO schemes (weighted, essentially non oscillating) are currently having a wide range of applications as approximate high order schemes for discontinuous solutions of partial differential equations. These schemes are used for direct numerical simulation (DNS) and large eddy simmulation in the gas dynamic problems, problems for DNS in MHD and even neutron kinetics. This work is dedicated to clarify some characteristics of WENO schemes and numerical simulation of specific tasks. Results of the simulations can be used to clarify the field of application of these schemes. The first part of the work contained proofs of the approximation properties, stability and convergence of WENO5, WENO7, WENO9, WENO11 and WENO13 schemes. In the second part of the work the modified wave number analysis is conducted that allows to conclude the dispersion and dissipative properties of schemes. Further, a numerical simulation of a number of specific problems for hyperbolic equations is conducted, namely for advection equations (one-dimensional and two-dimensional), Hopf equation, Burgers equation (with low dissipation) and equations of non viscous gas dynamics (onedimensional and two-dimensional). For each problem that is implying a smooth solution, the practical calculation of the order of approximation via Runge method is performed. The influence of a time step on nonlinear properties of the schemes is analyzed experimentally in all problems and cross checked with the first part of the paper. In particular, the advection equations of a discontinuous function and Hopf equations show that the failure of the recommendations from the first part of the paper leads first to an increase in total variation of the solution and then the approximation is decreased by the non-linear dissipative mechanics of the schemes. Dissipation of randomly distributed initial conditions in a periodic domain for one-dimensional Burgers equation is conducted and a comparison with the spectral method is performed. It is concluded that the WENO7–WENO13 schemes are suitable for direct numerical simulation of turbulence. At the end we demonstrate the possibility of the schemes to be used in solution of initial-boundary value problems for equations of non viscous gas dynamics: Rayleigh–Taylor instability and the reflection of the shock wave from a wedge with the formation a complex configuration of shock waves and discontinuities.

Numerical-analytical modeling of gravitational lensing of the electromagnetic waves in random-inhomogeneous space plasma
Computer Research and Modeling, 2024, v. 16, no. 2, pp. 433-443Instrument of numerical-analytical modeling of characteristics of propagation of electromagnetic waves in chaotic space plasma with taking into account effects of gravitation is developed for interpretation of data of measurements of astrophysical precision instruments of new education. The task of propagation of waves in curved (Riemann’s) space is solved in Euclid’s space by introducing of the effective index of refraction of vacuum. The gravitational potential can be calculated for various model of distribution of mass of astrophysical objects and at solution of Poisson’s equation. As a result the effective index of refraction of vacuum can be evaluated. Approximate model of the effective index of refraction is suggested with condition that various objects additively contribute in total gravitational field. Calculation of the characteristics of electromagnetic waves in the gravitational field of astrophysical objects is performed by the approximation of geometrical optics with condition that spatial scales of index of refraction a lot more wavelength. Light differential equations in Euler’s form are formed the basis of numerical-analytical instrument of modeling of trajectory characteristic of waves. Chaotic inhomogeneities of space plasma are introduced by model of spatial correlation function of index of refraction. Calculations of refraction scattering of waves are performed by the approximation of geometrical optics. Integral equations for statistic moments of lateral deviations of beams in picture plane of observer are obtained. Integrals for moments are reduced to system of ordinary differential equations the firsts order with using analytical transformations for cooperative numerical calculation of arrange and meansquare deviations of light. Results of numerical-analytical modeling of trajectory picture of propagation of electromagnetic waves in interstellar space with taking into account impact of gravitational fields of space objects and refractive scattering of waves on inhomogeneities of index of refraction of surrounding plasma are shown. Based on the results of modeling quantitative estimation of conditions of stochastic blurring of the effect of gravitational lensing of electromagnetic waves at various frequency ranges is performed. It’s shown that operating frequencies of meter range of wavelengths represent conditional low-frequency limit for observational of the effect of gravitational lensing in stochastic space plasma. The offered instrument of numerical-analytical modeling can be used for analyze of structure of electromagnetic radiation of quasar propagating through group of galactic.
