    Introduction to the theory of complex networks

    There was a new direction of studying of the complex systems last years, considering them as networks. Nodes in such networks represent elements of these complex systems, and links between nodes – interactions between elements. These researches deal with real systems, such as biological (metabolic networks of cells, functional networks of a brain, ecological systems), technical (the Internet, WWW, networks of the companies of cellular communication, power grids), social (networks of scientific cooperation, a network of movie actors, a network of acquaintances). It has appeared that these networks have more complex architecture, than classical random networks. In the offered review the basic concepts theory of complex networks are given, and the basic directions of studying of real networks structures are also briefly described.

    Dissipative Stochastic Dynamic Model of Language Signs Evolution

    We offer the dissipative stochastic dynamic model of the language sign evolution, satisfying to the principle of the least action, one of fundamental variational principles of the Nature. The model conjectures the Poisson nature of the birth flow of language signs and the exponential distribution of their associative-semantic potential (ASP). The model works with stochastic difference equations of the special type for dissipative processes. The equation for momentary polysemy distribution and frequency-rank distribution drawn from our model do not differs significantly (by Kolmogorov-Smirnov’s test) from empirical distributions, got from main Russian and English explanatory dictionaries as well as frequency dictionaries of them.

    Autonomous Noetherian boundaryvalue problem in special critical case

    The necessary and sufficient terms of solution existence of nonlinear autonomous Noetherian boundary-value problem are found in special critical case. The characteristic feature of the set problems is impossibility of direct application of traditional research schematic representation and construction of solutions of critical boundary-value problems, which was created in works of I.G. Malkin, A.M. Samoilenko, E.A. Grebenikov, Yu.A. Ryabov and A.A. Boichuk. For the solution construction of Noetherian boundary-value problem in special critical case an iterative procedure is recommended, it is constructed according to the scheme of least-squares method. Efficiency of the offered technique is shown on the example of analysis for periodic problems for Hill equation.

    Tool for integration of heterogeneous models and its application to loosely coupled sets of differential equations

    We develop the software tool for integration of dynamics models, which are inhomogeneous over mathematical properties and/or over requirements to the time step. The family of algorithms for the parallel computation of heterogeneous models with different time steps is offered. Analytical estimates and direct measurements of the error of these algorithms are made with reference to weakly coupled ODE sets. The advantage of the algorithms in the time cost as compared to accurate methods is shown.

    Approach to development of algorithms of Newtonian methods of unconstrained optimization, their software implementation and benchmarking

    The approach to increase efficiency of Gill and Murray's algorithm of Newtonian methods of unconstrained optimization with step adjustment creation is offered, rests on Cholesky’s factorization. It is proved that the strategy of choice of the descent direction also determines the solution of the problem of scaling of steps at descent, and approximation by non-quadratic functions, and integration with a method of a confidential vicinity.

    Traditional classification of real complex networks on biological, technological and social is incomplete, as there is a huge variety of artworks, which structure also can be presented in the form of networks. In this paper the review of researches of the complex networks, modeling some literary, musical and painting works is given. Corresponding networks are offered for naming cognitive networks. The possible directions of studying of such networks are discussed.

    The stable estimation of intensity of atmospheric pollution source on the base of sequential function specification method

    The approach given in this work helps to organize the operative control over action intensity of pollution emissions in atmosphere. The approach allows to sequential estimate of unknown intensity of atmospheric pollution source on the base of concentration measurements of impurity in several stationary control points is offered in the work. The inverse problem was solved by means of the step-by-step regularization and the sequential function specification method. The solution is presented in the form of the digital filter in terms of Hamming. The fitting algorithm of regularization parameter r for function specification method is described.

    GPU-accelerated hybrid systems for high-performance computing in bio-informatics

    Modern GPUs are massively-parallel processors, offering substantial amount of computational power in energy-efficient package. We discuss the benefits of utilizing this computing power for modeling problems in bio-informatics, such as molecular dynamics, quantum chemistry and sequence analysis.
