Correctness of task family with nonclassical boundary conditions
Computer Research and Modeling, 2009, v. 1, no. 2, pp. 139-146Views (last year): 2.A boundary value problem for partial differential equation with nonlocal boundary relations of special type is resolved by means of a slight modification of the separation of variables method. Ordinal differential operator of the second order subject to boundary conditions of the main problem is not self-adjoint. The system of eigenfunctions generated by the operator has no basis property in L2[0,1] space. A special system of functions is proposed to expand the solution of the boundary value problem.

Control systems in Brunovsky form: symmetries, controllability
Computer Research and Modeling, 2009, v. 1, no. 2, pp. 147-159Views (last year): 2.Many nonlinear control systems by nonsingular transformation variable {condition-control} happen to canonical Brunovsky form. The different questions dare in canonical form to theories of control, then inverse change variable is realized return to source variable. In work on base this ideology are studied transformations to symmetries space {time-condition-control}.

Synthesis of ATP by F1-ATPase in stochastic model
Computer Research and Modeling, 2009, v. 1, no. 2, pp. 217-223Views (last year): 2. Citations: 1 (RSCI).The paper continues our series of papers [1-4] devoted to the development of mathematical model on rotation of F1-AТPase molecular motor. Here it has been considered the synthesis of ATP induced by external force applied to the rotor.

Transition from regular to chaotic dynamics for weakly bound rotating clusters
Computer Research and Modeling, 2009, v. 1, no. 1, pp. 13-20Views (last year): 2.The measure of regular and chaotic component in dynamics of van-der-Waals clusters has been obtained by Monte Carlo method at different values of the total energy and the angular momentum. The nonmonotonic dependence of the volume of chaotic component on the angular momentum has been determined. The reason of transition to the chaotic regime has been revealed.

Kink motion by ac external force and dissipation
Computer Research and Modeling, 2009, v. 1, no. 3, pp. 263-271Views (last year): 2. Citations: 3 (RSCI).We consider SG-kink motion under the ac external force and dissipation assuming that kink shape conserves, and the kink velocity is changing in time. External forces are harmonically dependent upon time and are considered as step functions.

Exact solutions of Ekman’s model for three-dimensional wind-induced flow of homogeneous fluid with geostrophic current
Computer Research and Modeling, 2009, v. 1, no. 1, pp. 57-66The first solution for wind-induced flow of homogeneous fluid was found in 1905 by Ekman and it involved the sum of two components: the drift current determined by wind stress and the geostrophic current determined by slope of the free surface. Drift current is defined by the specific formula and can be easily analyzed. In order to find the geostrophic current it is necessary to solve an elliptic type equation in the area bounded by coastline and it is a more difficult problem. In this paper examples of areas and wind stresses are given for the case when the equations for finding the geostrophic current are solved analytically.

Mechanism of soliton stopping in a molecular chain without dispersion
Computer Research and Modeling, 2009, v. 1, no. 1, pp. 93-99Views (last year): 2. Citations: 1 (RSCI).It is shown by computer simulation that moving soliton-like solution exists in a molecular chain without dispersion. The speed of the solitary wave decreases with time. This decrease can be explained physically due to excitation of sites by moving wave. Maximum wave track length is estimated.

Contact specificity in protein-DNA complexes
Computer Research and Modeling, 2009, v. 1, no. 3, pp. 281-286In this work we investigated contacts between proteins and nucleic acids by Voronoi-Delaunay tessellation. About one third of all contacts are contacts between nucleotides and positively charged residues Arg and Lys, 32,3 %. Ser and Thr together take part in 15 % of contacts. Asn forms 6 % of contacts, as well as Gly. Contribution of each other residue type does not exceed 5 %. Statistically significant are contacts Asp-G, Trp-C, Glu-C, Asp-C and His-T. General mechanism of charged residues participation in specific protein-DNA interac-tions is suggested.

On a model of wind-induced flow of two layered viscous fluid
Computer Research and Modeling, 2009, v. 1, no. 4, pp. 381-390Views (last year): 2.Exact solution of the stationary problem of wind-induced flow of two-layered viscous fluid is found for two-dimensional in vertical plane current and for drift current in three-dimensional case. The condition of sliding is set on the bottom of a water body. The condition of nonpassage is set on the lateral surface. Results of some calculations are given in comparison with those obtained using Ekman’s model (which does not take into account horizontal viscosity of the layer).

The stable estimation of intensity of atmospheric pollution source on the base of sequential function specification method
Computer Research and Modeling, 2009, v. 1, no. 4, pp. 391-403The approach given in this work helps to organize the operative control over action intensity of pollution emissions in atmosphere. The approach allows to sequential estimate of unknown intensity of atmospheric pollution source on the base of concentration measurements of impurity in several stationary control points is offered in the work. The inverse problem was solved by means of the step-by-step regularization and the sequential function specification method. The solution is presented in the form of the digital filter in terms of Hamming. The fitting algorithm of regularization parameter r for function specification method is described.
