Large-time asymptotic solutions of the nonlocal Fisher–Kolmogorov–Petrovskii–Piskunov equation
Computer Research and Modeling, 2013, v. 5, no. 4, pp. 543-558Views (last year): 1. Citations: 3 (RSCI).Asymptotic solutions are constructed for the 1D nonlocal Fisher–Kolmogorov–Petrovskii–Piskunov equation. Such solutions allow to describe the quasi-steady-state patterns. Similar asymptotic solutions of the dynamical Einstein–Ehrenfest system for the 2D Fisher–Kolmogorov–Petrovskii–Piskunov equation are found. The solutions describe properties of 2D patterns localized on 1D manifolds.

Fluorescent probe immobilization into enzyme molecules
Computer Research and Modeling, 2013, v. 5, no. 5, pp. 835-843Views (last year): 2. Citations: 3 (RSCI).The results of the experimental and theoretical researches of kinetics of erythrosine penetration into collagenase molecules have represented in this paper. The case with introduction of the compound (fluorescent probe) which has dimers to enzyme solution as an injection has been considered. It was shown that monomers and dimers can penetrate into enzyme molecules with formation complexes monomer — enzyme, dimer- enzyme. Moreover, transformation of probe fluorescence spectra is at each time moment. Spectrum maximum shift, and its form change. At a time, the immobilized dye dimers greatly impact to formation of end fluorescence spectrum. Well correlation between experimental and theoretical results confirms reality of the obtained data.

The long-term empirical macro model of world dynamics
Computer Research and Modeling, 2013, v. 5, no. 5, pp. 883-891Views (last year): 4. Citations: 3 (RSCI).The work discusses the methodological basis and problems of modeling of world dynamics. Outlines approaches to the construction of a new simulation model of global development and the results of the simulation. The basis of the model building is laid empirical approach which based on the statistical analysis of the main socio-economic indicators. On the basis of this analysis identified the main variables. Dynamic equations (in continuous differential form) were written for these variables. Dependencies between variables were selected based on the dynamics of indicators in the past and on the basis of expert assessments, while econometric techniques were used, based on regression analysis. Calculations have been performed for the resulting dynamic equations system, the results are presented in the form of a trajectories beam for those indicators that are directly observable, and for which statistics are available. Thus, it is possible to assess the scatter of the trajectories and understand the predictive capability of this model.

Computational modeling of a meteor entering atmosphere dense layers using elastoplastic approximation
Computer Research and Modeling, 2013, v. 5, no. 6, pp. 957-967Views (last year): 2. Citations: 3 (RSCI).The article contains results of modeling a meteor entering dense atmosphere layers using Galerkin’s method and smoother particle hydrodynamics. Numerical simulations were run using experimental data gathered for the Chelyabinsk meteor while varying the meteor material characteristics and its orientation when entering the atmosphere.

Modeling system of extrusion and forming polymeric materials for blown film quality control
Computer Research and Modeling, 2014, v. 6, no. 1, pp. 137-158Views (last year): 7. Citations: 3 (RSCI).Flexible software for modeling polymeric film production by use of blown extrusion has been developed. It consists of library of mathematical models for extrusion and forming blown film, sub-system for changeover to new type of film and sub-system for investigation of extrusion and forming for film quality control under film production. The sub-system for changeover allows to choose the equipment of extrusion line on technical and economic indices, to synthesize 3D model of the line and to generate regulation ranges of regime parameters for given type of film. The sub-system for investigation allows to calculate temperature profiles of heating and cooling material, geometrical and optical characteristics of film depending on regime parameters for stages of extrusion and forming and to evaluate regime parameters ensuring given quality of polymeric film.

Analysis of socio-informational influence through the examples of US wars in Korea, Vietnam, and Iraq
Computer Research and Modeling, 2014, v. 6, no. 1, pp. 167-184Views (last year): 2. Citations: 3 (RSCI).In the first section of the paper a definition of presentation (perception) functions — components of individual’s subjective view of the world — are proposed. Using the basic psychophysical law formulated by S. Stevens, and relying on the hypotheses of socialization, rationality, individual choice, complexity of informational influences, dynamics of ideas and perceptions, and accessibility, formal dependence was derived allowing to calculate the function of presentation (perception) for probabilistic indicators (with known distribution function or subjective probability) and of interval type. In the second and third sections parameters of the presentation function according to surveys of the U.S. population related to the war in Korea, Vietnam, and Iraq are estimated.

Space-marching algorithm for solving radiative transfer problem based on short-characteristics method
Computer Research and Modeling, 2014, v. 6, no. 2, pp. 203-215Views (last year): 10. Citations: 3 (RSCI).A procedure of approximate solving of the radiation transfer problem is presented. The approximated solution is being built successively from the domain border along the direction of radiation propagation. The algorithm was tested for model problem of hot ball radiation.

On-line signature identification using a short-time Fourier transform and the radial basis
Computer Research and Modeling, 2014, v. 6, no. 3, pp. 357-364Views (last year): 4. Citations: 3 (RSCI).This paper describes a method of on-line signature identification using the short-time Fourier transform and wavelet transform with radial basis of a special kind. In carrying out the identification, we use dynamic properties signature. We adduce the assessment of the reliability of the proposed procedure.
