Autonomous Noetherian boundaryvalue problem in special critical case
Computer Research and Modeling, 2011, v. 3, no. 4, pp. 337-351Views (last year): 4. Citations: 1 (RSCI).The necessary and sufficient terms of solution existence of nonlinear autonomous Noetherian boundary-value problem are found in special critical case. The characteristic feature of the set problems is impossibility of direct application of traditional research schematic representation and construction of solutions of critical boundary-value problems, which was created in works of I.G. Malkin, A.M. Samoilenko, E.A. Grebenikov, Yu.A. Ryabov and A.A. Boichuk. For the solution construction of Noetherian boundary-value problem in special critical case an iterative procedure is recommended, it is constructed according to the scheme of least-squares method. Efficiency of the offered technique is shown on the example of analysis for periodic problems for Hill equation.

Accuracy control for fast circuit simulation
Computer Research and Modeling, 2011, v. 3, no. 4, pp. 365-370Citations: 1 (RSCI).We developed an algorithm for fast simulation of VLSI CMOS (Very Large Scale Integration with Complementary Metal-Oxide-Semiconductors) with an accuracy control. The algorithm provides an ability of parallel numerical experiments in multiprocessor computational environment. There is computation speed up by means of block-matrix and structural (DCCC) decompositions application. A feature of the approach is both in a choice of moments and ways of parameters synchronization and application of multi-rate integration methods. Due to this fact we have ability to estimate and control error of given characteristics.

The stoichiometry of metabolic pathways in the dynamics of cellular populations
Computer Research and Modeling, 2011, v. 3, no. 4, pp. 455-475Views (last year): 5. Citations: 1 (RSCI).The problem has been considered, to what extent the kinetic models of cellular metabolism fit the matter which they describe. Foundations of stoichiometry of the whole metabolism and its large regions have been stated. A bioenergetic representation of stoichiometry based on a universal unit of chemical compound reductivity, viz., redoxon, has been described. Equations of mass-energy balance (bioenergetic variant of stoichiometry) have been derived for metabolic flows including those of protons possessing high electrochemical potential μH+, and high-energy compounds. Interrelations have been obtained which determine the biomass yield, rate of uptake of energy source for cell growth and other important physiological quantities as functions of biochemical characteristics of cellular energetics. The maximum biomass energy yield values have been calculated for different energy sources utilized by cells. These values coincide with those measured experimentally.

Modelling of interlayer magnetostatic energy in nanocrystal films
Computer Research and Modeling, 2012, v. 4, no. 1, pp. 85-90Views (last year): 3. Citations: 1 (RSCI).The computation model of the interlayer magnetostatic energy and its contribution into the total magnetic energy of multilayer films has been proposed. The model has been used for the energy computation of three-layer Co/Cu/Co structure. The comparison of obtained theoretical results with experimental data has been allowed made an estimation of magnetostatic interaction influence on a value and a character of saturation field behavior for such structures.

Numerical investigation of spatially periodic rolls structures of liquid dielectrics isothermal electro–convection in a plane–parallel electrode system
Computer Research and Modeling, 2012, v. 4, no. 1, pp. 91-98Views (last year): 1. Citations: 1 (RSCI).Isothermal electroconvection in a dielectric liquid arising in a plane-parallel electrode system due to unipolar injection of charges from the cathode is considered. Spatially periodic rolls structures stability is investigated.

NINE: computer code for numerical solution of the boundary problems for nonlinear differential equations on the basis of CANM
Computer Research and Modeling, 2012, v. 4, no. 2, pp. 315-324Views (last year): 1. Citations: 1 (RSCI).The computer code NINE (Newtonian Iteration for Nonlinear Equation) for numerical solution of the boundary problems for nonlinear differential equations on the basis of continuous analogue of the Newton method (CANM) is presented. Numerov’s finite-difference appproximation is applied to provide the fourth accuracy order with respect to the discretization stepsize. Algorithms of calculating the Newtonian iterative parameter are discussed. A convergence of iteration process in dependence on choice of the iteration parameter has been studied. Results of numerical investigation of the particle-like solutions of the scalar field equation are given.

An experience of the application software packages adaptation for running in grid environments
Computer Research and Modeling, 2012, v. 4, no. 2, pp. 339-344Views (last year): 1. Citations: 1 (RSCI).This article describes an experience of LIT JINR team in application software packages adaptation for running in different grid environments. Peculiarities of the applications “gridification” depending on their possible launch modes and a type of the matching computational resources are given. The particular applications and grid environments which applications are adopted for are listed.

The introduction of baryon string in the model of spiral galaxies structure
Computer Research and Modeling, 2012, v. 4, no. 3, pp. 597-612Views (last year): 2. Citations: 1 (RSCI).It proposes a new alternative approach to explain the flat spectrum of the velocity for stars orbital motion on the periphery of spiral galaxies. In particular, that velocity significant excess of speed calculated according to the virial theorem. The concept is the assumption of the existence for gravitational field of the Central body of the galaxy cylindrical, and not spherical, symmetry. The configuration of this field can be explained by the presence on galaxy axis the cosmic string, the length of which covers the diameter of the disk of the galaxy. This model will be subjected to comparison with the more traditional concept of the availability of the spiral galaxy ball halo of dark matter. For this approach it will also be offered a kinematic model, and the hypothesis about the nature of dark matter. It examines the data of astronomical observations about the presence of cosmic strings in the zones adjacent to galaxies.

About the mechanism of switching between standing and traveling waves is accompanied by a halving of the wavelength
Computer Research and Modeling, 2012, v. 4, no. 4, pp. 673-679Views (last year): 2. Citations: 1 (RSCI).We suggest a possible mechanism for the transition from standing waves with a wavelength λSW to traveling waves with a half wavelength: λTW ≅λSW / 2. This phenomenon was observed in the Belousov–Zhabotinsky reaction dispersed in a water-in-oil aerosol OT/Span-20 microemulsion. The problem is solved in a spatially one-dimensional case using amplitude equations approach. We demonstrate that a transition is possible under certain conditions. We obtain conditions for the mode coupling strength parameters, under which the scenario of transition from a standing wave to a half-period traveling wave, observed experimentally, is realized. The result of theoretical analysis is confirmed by numerical simulations.
