On-line signature identification using a short-time Fourier transform and the radial basis
Computer Research and Modeling, 2014, v. 6, no. 3, pp. 357-364Views (last year): 4. Citations: 3 (RSCI).This paper describes a method of on-line signature identification using the short-time Fourier transform and wavelet transform with radial basis of a special kind. In carrying out the identification, we use dynamic properties signature. We adduce the assessment of the reliability of the proposed procedure.

Software implementation of the three-dimensional modeling of thermal processes in multilayer integrated circuits for space purposes
Computer Research and Modeling, 2014, v. 6, no. 3, pp. 397-403Views (last year): 4. Citations: 1 (RSCI).In this paper we consider software implementation of three-dimensional modeling of thermal processes in multilayer integrated circuits based on low-temperature co-veneering ceramic. The results obtained by the software implemented by the example of the radio frequency receiver module based on low-temperature ceramics for autonomous navigation systems. And also provides a comparison with the results of certified software product.

Estimates of threshold and strength of percolation clusters on square lattices with (1,π)-neighborhood
Computer Research and Modeling, 2014, v. 6, no. 3, pp. 405-414Views (last year): 4. Citations: 5 (RSCI).In this paper we consider statistical estimates of threshold and strength of percolation clusters on square lattices. The percolation threshold pc and the strength of percolation clusters P∞ for a square lattice with (1,π)-neighborhood depends not only on the lattice dimension, but also on the Minkowski exponent d. To estimate the strength of percolation clusters P∞ proposed a new method of averaging the relative frequencies of the target subset of lattice sites. The implementation of this method is based on the SPSL package, released under GNU GPL-3 using the free programming language R.

Mathematical modeling of the population dynamics of different age-group workers in the regional economy
Computer Research and Modeling, 2014, v. 6, no. 3, pp. 441-454The article deals with the nonlinear model of population dynamics of different ages workers in the regional economy. The model is built on the principles underlying modeling in econophysics. The authors demonstrate the complex dynamics of the model regimes that impose fundamental limits on medium- and long-term forecast of employment in a region. By analogy with the biophysical approach the authors propose a classification of social interactions of the different age-group workers. The model analysis is given for the level of employment among age groups. The verification of the model performs on the statistical data of the Jewish Autonomous Region.

Numerical integration algorithm potentially-streaming equations in lumped parameters to control the correctness of the approximate solution
Computer Research and Modeling, 2014, v. 6, no. 4, pp. 479-493Views (last year): 4. Citations: 3 (RSCI).This work is devoted to development of an algorithm for numerical integration of differential equations potentially-streaming method simulation of non-equilibrium processes. This method was developed by the author in his earlier published works. In this paper, consideration is limited to systems with lumped parameters. Also previously developed method for analyzing the correctness of the author of the approximate solution of the system potentially-streaming equations for systems in lumped parameters. The purpose of this article is to combine this technique with modern numerical methods for integrating systems of ordinary differential equations and the development of methods of numerical integration of systems of equations potentially-streaming method that allows to guarantee the correctness of the approximate solution.

About quality of Kernel based object tracking
Computer Research and Modeling, 2014, v. 6, no. 4, pp. 495-502The kernel based object tracking algorithms were described that take in account the independent changes of the 4 and 5 out of 5 parameters of the elliptic tracking region. It is shown that in tracking this conditions are sufficient and attempts of prediction are not necessary.

Developing the mathematical model of road junction by the hydrodynamic approach
Computer Research and Modeling, 2014, v. 6, no. 4, pp. 503-522Views (last year): 4.The purpose of this paper is to develop a macroscopic hydrodynamic model describing the vehicular traffic on a road junction and taking into account the distribution of traffic light phases and the existing road markings.

Interchange integral characteristics study via microscopic traffic flow models
Computer Research and Modeling, 2014, v. 6, no. 4, pp. 523-534Views (last year): 4. Citations: 7 (RSCI).The problem of application of miscroscopic traffic models for the analysis of large network segments is discussed with an example of discrete flow with safe distance. A concept of integral charasteristics of network segments is introduced, a method for obtaining such characteristics via microscopic traffic flow models is presented. Said method is applied to a circular unidirectional interchange, obtained characteristics analysed.

Grid-cloud services simulation for NICA project, as a mean of the efficiency increasing of their development
Computer Research and Modeling, 2014, v. 6, no. 5, pp. 635-642Views (last year): 4. Citations: 3 (RSCI).A new grid and cloud services simulation for NICA accelerator complex data storage and processing system are described. This system is focused on improving the efficiency of the grid-cloud systems development by using work quality indicators of some real system to design and predict its evolution. For these purpose the simulation program are combined with real monitoring system of the grid-cloud service through a special database. An example of the program usage to simulate a sufficiently general cloud structure, which can be used for more common purposes, is given.

Mathematical modeling of pulsating detonation wave using ENO-schemes of different approximation orders
Computer Research and Modeling, 2014, v. 6, no. 5, pp. 643-653Views (last year): 4. Citations: 5 (RSCI).The results of the numerical investigations of pulsating detonation wave propagation using the ENO-schemes with the approximation orders from the first to the fourth inclusively are presented. The results obtained with the use of the schemes of different approximation orders demonstrate that the pattern of detonation wave propagation in acetylene-air mixture corresponds to the analytical estimates both qualitatively and quantitatively. For the hydrogen-air mixture none of the schemes concerned provides the stable detonation wave propagation. The transition from the regular mode to the marginal one with the subsequent detonation breakup is observed.
