    Symmetries of the Hamilton–Jacobi equation
    Computer Research and Modeling, 2012, v. 4, no. 2, pp. 253-265

The notion of symmetry transformations of the Hamilton–Jacobi equation. For the group of symmetries is shown how to be associated with the Hamiltonian function coefficients of the infinitesimal operator of the group. The examples of calculation of the symmetries and examples calculations based on the full symmetry of the integrals.

Adjoint grid parabolic quazilinear boundary-value problems
    Computer Research and Modeling, 2012, v. 4, no. 2, pp. 275-291

In the paper we construct the adjoint problem for the explicit and implicit parabolic quazi-linear grid boundary-value problems with one spatial variable; the coefficients of the problems depend on the solution at the same time and earlier times. Dependence on the history of the solution is via the state vector; its evolution is described by the differential equation. Many models of diffusion mass transport are reduced to such boundary-value problems. Having solutions to the direct and adjoint problems, one can obtain the exact value of the gradient of a functional in the space of parameters the problem also depends on. We present solving algorithms, including the parallel one.

NINE: computer code for numerical solution of the boundary problems for nonlinear differential equations on the basis of CANM
    Computer Research and Modeling, 2012, v. 4, no. 2, pp. 315-324

The computer code NINE (Newtonian Iteration for Nonlinear Equation) for numerical solution of the boundary problems for nonlinear differential equations on the basis of continuous analogue of the Newton method (CANM) is presented. Numerov’s finite-difference appproximation is applied to provide the fourth accuracy order with respect to the discretization stepsize. Algorithms of calculating the Newtonian iterative parameter are discussed. A convergence of iteration process in dependence on choice of the iteration parameter has been studied. Results of numerical investigation of the particle-like solutions of the scalar field equation are given.

An experience of the application software packages adaptation for running in grid environments
    Computer Research and Modeling, 2012, v. 4, no. 2, pp. 339-344

This article describes an experience of LIT JINR team in application software packages adaptation for running in different grid environments. Peculiarities of the applications “gridification” depending on their possible launch modes and a type of the matching computational resources are given. The particular applications and grid environments which applications are adopted for are listed.

Effect of subcritical excitation of oscillations in stochastic systems with time delay. Part II. Control of fluid equilibrium
    Computer Research and Modeling, 2012, v. 4, no. 2, pp. 369-389

The problem of active control of the mechanical equilibrium of an inhomogeneously heated fluid in a thermosyphon is studied theoretically and experimentally. The control is performed by using a feedback subsystem which inhibits convection by changing the orientation of thermosyphon in space. It is shown that excess feedback leads to the excitation of oscillations which are related to a delay in the controller work. In the presense of noise, the oscillations arise even when deterministic description predicts stationary behaviour. The experimental data and theory are in good agreement.

Mathematical modeling of the optimal market of competing goods in conditions of deliveries lags
    Computer Research and Modeling, 2012, v. 4, no. 2, pp. 431-450

The nonlinear restrictive (with restrictions of the inequalities type) dynamic mathematical model of the committed competition vacant market of many goods in conditions of the goods deliveries time-lag and of the linear dependency of the demand vector from the prices vector is offered. The problem of finding of prices and deliveries of goods into the market which are optimal (from seller’s profit standpoint) is formulated. It is shown the seller’s total profit maximum is expressing by the continuous piecewise smooth function of vector of volumes of deliveries with breakup of the derivative on borders of zones of the goods deficit, of the overstocking and of the dynamic balance of demand and offer of each of goods. With use of the predicate functions technique the computing algorithm of optimization of the goods deliveries into the market is built.

Modeling self-regulation of active neuron in the network
    Computer Research and Modeling, 2012, v. 4, no. 3, pp. 613-619

A model of the behavior of the active neuron, which was the development of the model described in Shamis A.L. [Shamis, 2006], is designed. Proposed topology is locally connected matrix of the active neural network and the structure integration of information from different sources. An example of the script behavior robot controlled by this neural network is described. The results of experiments with the software implementation of a neural network are presented.
