Effects of the heart contractility and its vascular load on the heart rate in athlets
Computer Research and Modeling, 2017, v. 9, no. 2, pp. 323-329Views (last year): 5. Citations: 1 (RSCI).Heart rate (HR) is the most affordable indicator for measuring. In order to control the individual response to physical exercises of different load types heart rate is measured when the athletes perform different types of muscular work (strength machines, various types of training and competitive exercises). The magnitude of heart rate and its dynamics during muscular work and recovery can be objectively judged on the functional status of the cardiovascular system of an athlete, the level of its individual physical performance, as well as an adaptive response to a particular exercise. However, the heart rate is not an independent determinant of the physical condition of an athlete. HR size is formed by the interaction of the basic physiological mechanisms underlying cardiac hemodynamic ejection mode. Heart rate depends on one hand, on contractility of the heart, the venous return, the volumes of the atria and ventricles of the heart and from vascular heart load, the main components of which are elastic and peripheral resistance of the arterial system on the other hand. The values of arterial system vascular resistances depend on the power of muscular work and its duration. HR sensitivity to changes in heart load and vascular contraction was determined in athletes by pair regression analysis simultaneously recorded heart rate data, and peripheral $(R)$ and elastic $(E_a)$ resistance (heart vascular load), and the power $(W)$ of heartbeats (cardiac contractility). The coefficients of sensitivity and pair correlation between heart rate indicators and vascular load and contractility of left ventricle of the heart were determined in athletes at rest and during the muscular work on the cycle ergometer. It is shown that increase in both ergometer power load and heart rate is accompanied by the increase of correlation coefficients and coefficients of the heart rate sensitivity to $R$, $E_a$ and $W$.

Features of the DNA kink motion in the asynchronous switching on and off of the constant and periodic fields
Computer Research and Modeling, 2018, v. 10, no. 4, pp. 545-558Views (last year): 29. Citations: 1 (RSCI).Investigation of the influence of external fields on living systems is one of the most interesting and rapidly developing areas of modern biophysics. However, the mechanisms of such an impact are still not entirely clear. One approach to the study of this issue is associated with modeling the interaction of external fields with internal mobility of biological objects. In this paper, this approach is used to study the effect of external fields on the motion of local conformational distortions — kinks, in the DNA molecule. Realizing and taking into account that on the whole this task is closely connected with the problem of the mechanisms of regulation of vital processes of cells and cellular systems, we set the problem — to investigate the physical mechanisms regulating the motion of kinks and also to answer the question whether permanent and periodic fields can play the role of regulators of this movement. The paper considers the most general case, when constant and periodic fields are switching on and off asynchronously. Three variants of asynchronous switching on/off are studied in detail. In the first variant, the time intervals (or diapasons) of the actions of the constant and periodic fields do not overlap, in the second — overlap, and in the third — the intervals are putting in each other. The calculations were performed for the sequence of plasmid pTTQ18. The kink motion was modeled by the McLaughlin–Scott equation, and the coefficients of the equation were calculated in a quasi-homogeneous approximation. Numerical experiments showed that constant and periodic fields exert a significant influence on the character of the kink motion and regulate it. So the switching on of a constant field leads to a rapid increase of the kink velocity and to the establishment of a stationary velocity of motion, and the switching on of a periodic field leads to the steady oscillations of the kink with the frequency of the external periodic field. It is shown that the behavior of the kink depends on the mutual arrangement of the diapasons of the action of the external fields. As it turned out, events occurring in one of the two diapasons can affect the events in the other diapason, even when the diapasons are sufficiently far apart. It is shown that the overlapping of the diapasons of action of the constant and periodic fields leads to a significant increase in the path traversed by the kink to a complete stop. Maximal growth of the path is observed when one diapason is putting in each other. In conclusion, the question of how the obtained model results could be related to the most important task of biology — the problem of the mechanisms of regulation of the processes of vital activity of cells and cellular systems is discussed.

Stochastic model of voter dynamics in online media
Computer Research and Modeling, 2019, v. 11, no. 5, pp. 979-997In the present article we explore the process of changing the level of approval of a political leader under the influence of the processes taking place in online platforms (social networks, forums, etc.). The driver of these changes is the interaction of users, through which they can exchange opinions with each other and formulate their position in relation to the political leader. In addition to interpersonal interaction, we will consider such factors as the information impact, expressed in the creation of an information flow with a given power and polarity (positive or negative, in the context of influencing the image of a political leader), as well as the presence of a group of agents (opinion leaders), supporting the leader, or, conversely, negatively affecting its representation in the media space.
The mathematical basis of the presented research is the Kirman model, which has its roots in biology and initially found its application in economics. Within the framework of this model it is considered that each user is in one of the two possible states, and a Markov jump process describing transitions between these states is given. For the problem under consideration, these states are 0 or 1, depending on whether a particular agent is a supporter of a political leader or not. For further research, we find its diffusional approximation, known as the Jacoby process. With the help of spectral decomposition for the infinitesimal operator of this process we have an opportunity to find an analytical representation for the transition probability density.
Analyzing the probabilities obtained in this way, we can assess the influence of individual factors of the model: the power and direction of the information flow, available to online users and relevant to the tasks of rating formation, as well as the number of supporters or opponents of the politician. Next, using the found eigenfunctions and eigenvalues, we derive expressions for the evaluation of conditional mathematical expectations of a politician’s rating, which can serve as a basis for building forecasts that are important for the formation of a strategy of representing a political leader in the online environment.

Boundary conditions for lattice Boltzmann equations in applications to hemodynamics
Computer Research and Modeling, 2020, v. 12, no. 4, pp. 865-882We consider a one-dimensional three velocity kinetic lattice Boltzmann model, which represents a secondorder difference scheme for hydrodynamic equations. In the framework of kinetic theory this system describes the propagation and interaction of three types of particles. It has been shown previously that the lattice Boltzmann model with external virtual force is equivalent at the hydrodynamic limit to the one-dimensional hemodynamic equations for elastic vessels, this equivalence can be achieved with use of the Chapman – Enskog expansion. The external force in the model is responsible for the ability to adjust the functional dependence between the lumen area of the vessel and the pressure applied to the wall of the vessel under consideration. Thus, the form of the external force allows to model various elastic properties of the vessels. In the present paper the physiological boundary conditions are considered at the inlets and outlets of the arterial network in terms of the lattice Boltzmann variables. We consider the following boundary conditions: for pressure and blood flow at the inlet of the vascular network, boundary conditions for pressure and blood flow for the vessel bifurcations, wave reflection conditions (correspond to complete occlusion of the vessel) and wave absorption at the ends of the vessels (these conditions correspond to the passage of the wave without distortion), as well as RCR-type conditions, which are similar to electrical circuits and consist of two resistors (corresponding to the impedance of the vessel, at the end of which the boundary conditions are set and the friction forces in microcirculatory bed) and one capacitor (describing the elastic properties of arterioles). The numerical simulations were performed: the propagation of blood in a network of three vessels was considered, the boundary conditions for the blood flow were set at the entrance of the network, RCR boundary conditions were stated at the ends of the network. The solutions to lattice Boltzmann model are compared with the benchmark solutions (based on numerical calculations for second-order McCormack difference scheme without viscous terms), it is shown that the both approaches give very similar results.

Influence of harvesting on the dynamics of predator-prey community with age-structure for prey
Computer Research and Modeling, 2021, v. 13, no. 4, pp. 823-844The paper studies the influence of selective harvest on dynamic modes of the «predator–prey» community with age structure for prey. We use a slight modification of the Nicholson-Bailey model to describe the interaction between predator and prey. We assume the prey population size is regulated by a decrease in survival rate of juvenile with an increase in the size of age class. The aim is to study the mechanisms of formation and evolution of dynamic modes for the structured «predator–prey» community model due to selective harvesting. We considered the cases when a harvest of some part of predator or prey population or one of the prey’s age classes is realized. The conditions of stable coexistence of interacting species and scenarios of the occurrence of oscillatory modes of abundance are studied. It is shown the harvesting of only young individuals of prey or simultaneous removal of young and adult individuals leads to expansion of parameter space domain with stable dynamics of prey population both with and without a predator. At the same time, the bistability domain narrows, in which changing initial conditions leads to the predator either remains in the community or dies from lack of food. In the case of the harvest for prey adult individuals or predator, the predator preservation in the community is ensured by high values of the prey birth rate, moreover bistability domain expands. With the removal of both juvenile preys and predators, an increase in the survival rates of adult prey leads to stabilization of the community dynamics. The juveniles’ harvest can lead to damping of oscillations and stabilize the prey dynamics in the predator absence. Moreover, it can change the scenario of the coexistence of species — from habitation of preys without predators to a sustainable coexistence of both species. The harvest of some part of predator or prey or the prey’s older age class can lead to both oscillations damping and stable dynamics of the interacting species, and to the destruction of the community, that is, to the death of predator.

Development of a computational environment for mathematical modeling of superconducting nanostructures with a magnet
Computer Research and Modeling, 2023, v. 15, no. 5, pp. 1349-1358Now days the main research activity in the field of nanotechnology is aimed at the creation, study and application of new materials and new structures. Recently, much attention has been attracted by the possibility of controlling magnetic properties using a superconducting current, as well as the influence of magnetic dynamics on the current–voltage characteristics of hybrid superconductor/ferromagnet (S/F) nanostructures. In particular, such structures include the S/F/S Josephson junction or molecular nanomagnets coupled to the Josephson junctions. Theoretical studies of the dynamics of such structures need processes of a large number of coupled nonlinear equations. Numerical modeling of hybrid superconductor/magnet nanostructures implies the calculation of both magnetic dynamics and the dynamics of the superconducting phase, which strongly increases their complexity and scale, so it is advisable to use heterogeneous computing systems.
In the course of studying the physical properties of these objects, it becomes necessary to numerically solve complex systems of nonlinear differential equations, which requires significant time and computational resources.
The currently existing micromagnetic algorithms and frameworks are based on the finite difference or finite element method and are extremely useful for modeling the dynamics of magnetization on a wide time scale. However, the functionality of existing packages does not allow to fully implement the desired computation scheme.
The aim of the research is to develop a unified environment for modeling hybrid superconductor/magnet nanostructures, providing access to solvers and developed algorithms, and based on a heterogeneous computing paradigm that allows research of superconducting elements in nanoscale structures with magnets and hybrid quantum materials. In this paper, we investigate resonant phenomena in the nanomagnet system associated with the Josephson junction. Such a system has rich resonant physics. To study the possibility of magnetic reversal depending on the model parameters, it is necessary to solve numerically the Cauchy problem for a system of nonlinear equations. For numerical simulation of hybrid superconductor/magnet nanostructures, a computing environment based on the heterogeneous HybriLIT computing platform is implemented. During the calculations, all the calculation times obtained were averaged over three launches. The results obtained here are of great practical importance and provide the necessary information for evaluating the physical parameters in superconductor/magnet hybrid nanostructures.

Nonlinear dynamic of the transmembrane potential and pH along the cell membrane of Chara alga
Computer Research and Modeling, 2009, v. 1, no. 2, pp. 233-239Views (last year): 3. Citations: 1 (RSCI).The model of potential dependent proton transfer trough the cell membrane of Chara alga developed in [1] is considered. In the last version of the model we considered two variables: proton concentration near the surface cell and transmembrane potential. In present version we introduce the new variable — proton concentration in cytoplasm. Oscillative and chaotic dynamic of transmembrane potential was obtained in calculations. The physiological role of these patterns is discussed.

Hydrodynamical activation of blood coagulation in stenosed vessels. Theoretical analysis
Computer Research and Modeling, 2012, v. 4, no. 1, pp. 155-183Views (last year): 2. Citations: 5 (RSCI).The mechanisms of hydrodynamical activation of blood coagulation system are investigated in stenosed vessels for a wide range of Reynolds number values (from 10 up to 500). It is assumed that the vessel wall permeability for procoagulant factors rapidly increases when wall shear stress exceeds specific threshold value. A number of patterns of blood coagulation processes development are described. The influence of blood flow topology changes on activation of blood coagulation is explored. It is established that not only blood flow decrease, but also its increase may promote activation of blood coagulation. It was found that dependence of thrombogenic danger of stenosis on vessel lumen blockage ratio is non-monotonic. The relevance of obtained theoretical results for clinical practice is discussed.

Experimental investigation of Russian citizens expenses on new cars and a correspondence to their income
Computer Research and Modeling, 2012, v. 4, no. 3, pp. 621-629Citations: 3 (RSCI).The question of distribution of citizens expenses in modern Russia is experimentally investigated. New cars were chosen as representative group of the acquired goods as well as earlier. Results of the analysis of sales of new cars for 2007–2009 are presented below. Main “body” of density of probability to find certain number of cars depending on their price, since some initial price up to ~ k$60, is an exponential distribution. The found feature of distribution (unlike 2003–2005) was an existence of minimum price. For expensive cars (distribution “tail”), the asymptotic form is the Pareto distribution with a hyperbole exponent a little greater, than measured earlier for 2003–2005. The results turned up to be similar to direct measurements of distribution of tax declarations on their size, submitted to the USA in 2004 where exponential distribution of the income of citizens, since some minimum, with some asymptotic in the form of Pareto's distribution also was observed.

Comparing the effectiveness of computer mass appraisal methods
Computer Research and Modeling, 2015, v. 7, no. 1, pp. 185-196Views (last year): 2.Location-based models — one of areas of CAMA (computer-assisted mass apriasal) building. When taking into account the location of the object using spatial autoregressive models structure of models (type of spatial autocorrelation, choice of “nearest neighbors”) cannot always be determined before its construction. Moreover, in practice there are situations where more efficient methods are taking into account different rates depending on the type of the object from its location. In this regard there are important issues in spatial methods area:
– fields of methods efficacy;
– sensitivity of the methods on the choice of the type of spatial model and on the selected number of nearest neighbors.
This article presents a methodology for assessing the effectiveness of computer evaluation of real estate objects. There are results of approbation on methods based on location information of the objects.
