Ray trajectories, binomial coefficients of a new type, and the binary system
    Computer Research and Modeling, 2010, v. 2, no. 4, pp. 359-397

The paper describes a new algorithm of construction of the nonlinear arithmetic triangle on the basis of numerical simulation and the binary system. It demonstrates that the numbers that fill the nonlinear arithmetic triangle may be binomial coefficients of a new type. An analogy has been drawn with the binomial coefficients calculated with the use of the Pascal triangle. The paper provides a geometrical interpretation of binomials of different types in considering the branching systems of rays.

Motion control simulating in a viscous liquid of a body with variable geometry of weights
    Computer Research and Modeling, 2011, v. 3, no. 4, pp. 371-381

Statement of a problem of management of movement of a body in a viscous liquid is given. Movement bodies it is induced by moving of internal material points. On a basis the numerical decision of the equations of movement of a body and the hydrodynamic equations approximating dependencies for viscous forces are received. With application approximations the problem of optimum control of body movement dares on the set trajectory with application of hybrid genetic algorithm. Possibility of the directed movement of a body under action is established back and forth motion of an internal point. Optimum control movement direction it is carried out by motion of other internal point on circular trajectory with variable speed.

Algorithms and Software for Solving Coupled Fluid-Structure Interaction Problems on Hybrid HPC Platform
    Computer Research and Modeling, 2013, v. 5, no. 2, pp. 153-164

In this paper, we propose a new software for simulation of fluid-structure interaction. The software is designed for solving coupled problems and provides an interface for synchronization synchronisation and data exchange between existing fluid and structural solvers. Algorithms of coupling solvers and mesh deformation are discussed. The software can be used on hybrid CPU/GPU platforms.

A possible modification of the discrete mathematical model of transport network dynamics
    Computer Research and Modeling, 2013, v. 5, no. 3, pp. 395-401

The aim of this article is to study the discrete mathematical model of transport network dynamics, recently built by author. The study showed some drawbacks of the basic model and the ways of overcoming these drawbacks, and an improved version of the model was proposed. Simulation systems, created on the basis of this new model were used to do test calculations similar to those previously done with the help of the basic model. The results of these calculations with both models are compared.

    Modeling of Chelyabinsk meteorite fall
    Computer Research and Modeling, 2013, v. 5, no. 6, pp. 927-940

We study the motion and destruction of Chelyabinsk meteoroid using simple physical and mathematical models. We evaluate the parameters of the motion, taking into account the ablation and mechanical destruction of the meteoroid, and compare our results to the observation data.

Review of MRI processing techniques and elaboration of a new two-parametric method of moments
    Computer Research and Modeling, 2014, v. 6, no. 2, pp. 231-244

The paper provides a review of the existing methods of signals’ processing within the conditions of the Rice statistical model applicability. There are considered the principle development directions, the existing limitations and the improvement possibilities concerning the methods of solving the tasks of noise suppression and analyzed signals’ filtration by the example of magnetic-resonance visualization. A conception of a new approach to joint calculation of Rician signal’s both parameters has been developed based on the method of moments in two variants of its implementation. The computer simulation and the comparative analysis of the obtained numerical results have been conducted.

Numerical analysis of convective-radiative heat transfer in an air enclosure with a local heat source
    Computer Research and Modeling, 2014, v. 6, no. 3, pp. 383-396

Mathematical simulation of natural convection and surface radiation in a square air enclosure having isothermal vertical walls with a local heat source of constant temperature has been carried out. Mathematical model has been formulated on the basis of the dimensionless variables such as stream function, vorticity and temperature by using the Boussinesq approximation and diathermancy of air. Distributions of streamlines and isotherms reflecting an effect of Rayleigh number $ 10^3 \leqslant Ra \leqslant 10^6 $, surface emissivity $0 \leqslant ε < 1$, ratio between the length of heat source and the size of enclosure $0.2 \leqslant l/L \leqslant 0.6$ and dimensionless time $0 \leqslant τ \leqslant 100$ on fluid flow and heat transfer have been obtained. Correlations for the average heat transfer coefficient in dependence on $Ra$, $ε$ and $l/L$ have been ascertained.

Modelling the risk of insect impacts on forest stands after possible climate changes
    Computer Research and Modeling, 2016, v. 8, no. 2, pp. 241-253

A model of forest insect population dynamics used to simulate of “forest-insect” interactions and for estimation of possible damages of forest stand by pests. This model represented a population as control system where the input variables characterized the influence of modifier (climatic) factors and the feedback loop describes the effect of regulatory factors (parasites, predators and population interactions). The technique of stress testing on the basis of population dynamics model proposed for assessment of the risks of forest stand damage and destruction after insect impact. The dangerous forest pest pine looper Bupalus piniarius L. considered as the object of analysis. Computer experiments were conducted to assess of outbreak risks with possible climate change in the territory of Central Siberia. Model experiments have shown that risk of insect impact on the forest is not increased significantly in condition of sufficiently moderate warming (not more than 4 °C in summer period). However, a stronger warming in the territory of Central Siberia, combined with a dry summer condition could cause a significant increase in the risk of pine looper outbreaks.
