Searching for connections between biological and physico-chemical characteristics of Rybinsk reservoir ecosystem. Part 3. Calculation of the boundaries of water quality classes
    Computer Research and Modeling, 2013, v. 5, no. 3, pp. 451-471

Approbation of calculation of borders of water quality classes for the purpose of ecological diagnosis and standardization by data of the Rybinsk reservoir is carried out. For bioindication indicators of phytoplankton fluorescence and the contents of pigments of phytoplankton are used. Chesnokov's importance coefficient proved to be the most preferred measure of connection for analyzing the effects of environmental factors on indicators. The factors important for environmental condition are identified. Comparison of borders between quality classes “valid” and “invalid” of factors values and boundaries of the classifications of water quality.

Comparative analysis of Darcy and Brinkman models at studying of transient conjugate natural convection in a porous cylindrical cavity
    Computer Research and Modeling, 2013, v. 5, no. 4, pp. 623-634

Comparative analysis of two models of porous medium (Dacry and Brinkman) on an example of mathematical simulation of transient natural convection in a porous vertical cylindrical cavity with heat-conducting shell of finite thickness in conditions of convective cooling from an environment has been carried out. The boundary-value problem of mathematical physics formulated in dimensionless variables such as stream function, vorticity and temperature has been solved by implicit finite difference method. The presented verification results validate used numerical approach and also confirm that the solution is not dependent on the mesh size. Features of the conjugate heat transfer problems with considered models of porous medium have been determined.

Control of the dynamics of the kink of the modified sine-Gordon equation by the external exposure with varying parameters
    Computer Research and Modeling, 2013, v. 5, no. 5, pp. 821-834

The paper presents results that confirm the ability to control the movement of the kink of the modified sine-Gordon equation with variable external force parameters. Three types of external influences have been considered: permanent action, periodic action with a constant frequency and a frequency-modulated periodic exposure. The dependences of the position and velocity of the kink on time for various values of the parameters of external influence were obtained using the method of McLaughlin and Scott. It is shown that by changing the settings, one can adjust the velocity and direction of movement of the kink.

Research of possibility for man the parallel information handling in task series with increase complexity
    Computer Research and Modeling, 2013, v. 5, no. 5, pp. 845-861

We schedule the computer technology for present the engineer psychology tests which reveal probationer men which may hasten the logic task solution by simultaneous execution several standard logic operations. These tests based on the theory of two logic task kinds: in first kind the parallel logic is effectively, and in second kind it is not effectively. The realize experiment confirms the capability parallel logic for impotent part of people. The vital speedup execution of logic operations is very uncommon in simultaneous logic. The efficacy of methodic is confirmed.

Numerical study of thermal destruction of the ”Chelyabinsk” meteorite when entering the Earth’s atmosphere
    Computer Research and Modeling, 2013, v. 5, no. 6, pp. 941-956

A mathematical model for the numerical study of thermal destruction of the "Chelyabinsk" meteorite when entering the Earth’s atmosphere is presented in the article. The study was conducted in the framework of an integrated approach, including the calculation of the meteorite trajectory associated with the physical processes connected with the meteorite motion. Together with the trajectory the flow field and radiation-convective heat
transfer were determined as well as warming and destruction of the meteorite under the influence of the calculated heat load. An integrated approach allows to determine the trajectories of space objects more precisely, predict the area of their fall and destruction.

  6. The paper develops a theory of a new so-called two-parametric approach to the random signals' analysis and processing. A mathematical simulation and the task solutions’ comparison have been implemented for the Gauss and Rice statistical models. The applicability of the Rice statistical model is substantiated for the tasks of data and images processing when the signal’s envelope is being analyzed. A technique is developed and theoretically substantiated for solving the task of the noise suppression and initial image reconstruction by means of joint calculation of both statistical parameters — an initial signal’s mean value and noise dispersion — based on the maximum likelihood method within the Rice distribution. The peculiarities of this distribution’s likelihood function and the following from them possibilities of the signal and noise estimation have been analyzed.

A New Method For Point Estimating Parameters Of Simple Regression
    Computer Research and Modeling, 2014, v. 6, no. 1, pp. 57-77

A new method is described for finding parameters of univariate regression model: the greatest cosine method. Implementation of the method involves division of regression model parameters into two groups. The first group of parameters responsible for the angle between the experimental data vector and the regression model vector are defined by the maximum of the cosine of the angle between these vectors. The second group includes the scale factor. It is determined by means of “straightening” the relationship between the experimental data vector and the regression model vector. The interrelation of the greatest cosine method with the method of least squares is examined. Efficiency of the method is illustrated by examples.

Control theory methods for creating market structures
    Computer Research and Modeling, 2014, v. 6, no. 5, pp. 839-859

Control theory methods for creating market structures are discussed for two cases: when market participants are pursuing aims 1) of maximal growth and 2) of maximum economic efficiency of their firms. For the first case method based on variable structure systems principles is developed. For the second case dynamic game approach is proposed based on computation of Nash–Cournot and Stackelberg strategies with the help of Z-transform.

Nonequilibrium initiation of volumetric combustion in a combustion engine: modeling and experimental setup
    Computer Research and Modeling, 2014, v. 6, no. 6, pp. 911-922

The paper presents results of experimental, computational and analytical study of the effect of nonequilibrium chemical activation of air-fuel mixture on effectiveness of Diesel process. The generation of a high-voltage multi-streamer discharge in combustion chamber at the compression phase is considered as the method of the activation. The description of electrical discharge system, results of measurement and visualization are presented. The plasma-chemical kinetics of nonequilibrium ignition is analyzed to establish a passway for a proper reduction of chemical kinetics scheme. The results of numerical simulation of gas dynamic processes at presence of plasma-assisted combustion in a geometrical configuration close to the experimental one are described.

The compulsion method in the Germeyer’s games at modeling three-level control system of the ship’s ballast water
    Computer Research and Modeling, 2015, v. 7, no. 2, pp. 281-288

The static three-level game-theoretic model of a control system of the ship’s water ballast is built. The methods of hierarchical control in view of requirements of keeping the system in the given state are used. A comparison of the results of study of the model in terms of $\Gamma_1$ and $\Gamma_2$. Germeyer’s games is conducted. Numerical calculations for some typical cases are given.
